Here’s my three starter Pokemon, and my early route Electric Type (similar to Shinx and Ampharos)

My new version of my Early Route electric type: Tempeskunk.

As a move, I think Insulate is fine, but I’m kinda stuck on Storm Blast. I thought could work like Stockpile and Spit Up (and it gets those moves plus Swallow). I originally wanted it to be a stronger Charge Beam, but then i decided “Hmmm… let’s not.”

For hidden ability, I originally gave it a signature ability called Atmospheric Pressure, boosting its Weather and Weather-Adjacent moves, but I ultimately settled on just Thick Fat, to really go all in on bulk with this chilly chonker.

Its base stat total was originally 515, but I decided to make it 520, and evolve at level 32 from Skunder, and 16 from Skuncloud (which I’m renaming to Skloud).

Its Base Stat Spread is now 100 HP, 20 Ph. Atk, 90 Ph. Def, 120 Sp. Atk, 90. Sp. Def, and 100 Speed

What’s Pokemon do you think is has a lame design, but most people love. Or vice versa, what Pokemon do you think has a cool design but most people hate? I’ll start

Blaziken’s design is the best of the three Hoenn starters, is the best of the first 3 gens, and designs on average improved from gen 4 onwards. The starter Pokemon before gen 4 were mostly bland, generic, and uninteresting. Had it not been for the anime, they’d be significantly less liked.

I need help with the Hisuian Tera Raid.

Tera Raid Bosses are jerks, and I’ve never gotten close to killing this thing. It keeps boosting its Attack and lowering my defense. It has Shadow Claw, Triple Arrows, and Brave Bird…

I need help on what Pokemon I should use, and for others to bring Pokemon to help.

EDIT: I’ve finished the Tera Raid

Alolan Raichu/Pawmot appreciation post.

I know Kantonian Raichu, Ampharos, and Luxray gets all of the fame, but I love these guys more, especially considering their secondary typings. Psychic is my favorite and Fighting is starting to grow on me.

Here’s my water type starter based off of sunken ships, submarines, and my OC Dakua

Drew two fanmade Pokemon lines, and I think I did really well.

Note: Amphinaut’s signature move has been upgraded: Instead of confusion, it prevents the target from switching out (even if they’re a ghost type) and does recurring damage for 4 more turns. It’s now 75bp.

My second starter based off of one of my OCs, Chester. I’m pretty proud of myself, especially since I’m not that good with drawing quadrupeds.

I’m making three Starters based off of my OCs, the Grass type is a Frog based off of my OC, Ashton.

And by based off, I mean the same species as my OC, not necessarily the same theme. Ashton is a ninja (yeah I know, where could I have gotten that from???) but uses leaves and not water. I didn’t want a repeat of Greninja, so instead I chose an astronaut frog.

The signature move’s a work in progress and Amphinaut would have very low Ph. Atk to make way for great special attack and speed and solid enough bulk to get by.

Make a team with Pokemon for a specific theme, with one very important rule: Your Pokemon can use moves outside of their movepool, but only if it makes sense or can be justified.

My team is a space themed team.

Orbeetle’s here because it’s G-Max is UFO, Clefable’s here because it’s said to come from space, Naganadel’s here because it’s an alien, Minior’s a meteorite, Ampharos’s tail light can be seen from space like a beacon. Lopunny’s a stretch, but it’s here because it has a hidden reference to the moon rabbit folktale, it even learns Cosmic Power.

G-Max Orbeetle and Mega Lopunny would be my aces depending on the situation. Lopunny would use Drain Punch, Bounce, Ice Punch, Swords Dance

Orbeetle would get Body Press, Signal Beam, Psychic, and Charge Beam when it’s not G-Maxed, then Flash Cannon, Earth Power, Psychic, and Dark Pulse for when it is G-Maxed

Six Star Tera Fighting Snowslash

Moves:

Ice Spinner, Iron Head, Snowscape, Swords Dance

Ability:

Probably Slush Rush

Pokemon Needed:

Psychic Types are crucial, especially Psychic/Fire types like Armarouge that can also cause a burn, or Psychic/Steel types. Psychic Fairy Types are also useful. DO NOT BRING PHYSICAL ATTACKER OR PURE FAIRY OR FLYING TYPES.

Update: Tera Raid DEFEATED

What’s your Pokemon hot take? Not about design, but more about the Pokémon’s stats I’ll go first: F. Indeedee would be a lot better if it’s speed and Physical Attack were swapped.

u/HoverLogic — 18 days ago

So, I’m playing Violet and decided to just let my shiny Indeedee mess around with metronome. She somehow manages to roll Lumia Crash, Kowtow Cleave, Headlong Rush, and freaking Roar of Time. What’s the craziest thing your Pokemon have called from Metronome?
