I just got my first bike! 2019 BMW 310GS, last night at the seller's garage, it fired right up and ran. We loaded it into the van, and off I went. I got home around midnight, but I needed to return the van, so I made a makeshift ramp.

Long Story short, the ramp failed, and I dropped the bike I didn't think much, parked it, and went to bed. When I tried turning it on today, it wouldn't turn over. It cranks, and when I give it throttle, I hear it popping, but nothing else. I have no clue what to do now. All I want to do is go for a ride.

I have some experience working on cars, but I don't know anything about Motorcycles. Do you guys have any suggestions?

I just finished my MSF course and got my endorsement! I'm now looking at buying my first set of gear (I already have a Helmet, boots, Gloves) I plan on doing a lot of commuting from School to Work. What are everyone's thoughts on the Scorpion Yosemite gear?

Like the title said, why does the BMW G310GS get so much hate? I'm looking at getting my first bike, and I love how the 310 GS looks, the fuel mileage, the insurance rates, but everyone online says not to get it without elaborating.

I plan on mostly commuting and occasionally riding the highways to see my parents.
