Today I bought a used GE model 3-5015D casstte recorder and player, for a crazy $1. The unit needs a new set of belts, and I really don't want to spend $30 on a belt kit for the thing, and can't find what size belts it takes. Any help is appreciated.

Recently I was told by a family member that they really want this one tool. I am assuming it is Snap-on but could be any other brand. (As I know they like most snap-on tools, and frequented one of there trucks often.) They say it is a standard interchangeable bit screwdriver, but it had a spot on the back of the handle that a standard 1/4 inch drive ratchet can clip in. I have looked online, but can't find anything. I have even asked AI to see if it could help, but it didn't really work. (It tried) I really hope someone here can help me find this so I can gift it to them.

Can't get Davinci Resolve to load

I downloaded a copy of Davinci Resolve for linux, I installed it, but when I try to launch it, it loads for a bit and "crashes" It is version 20.3

I have used Davinci Resolve when I ran windows, (not really long enough to fully figure it out) but I recently switched to linux (as windows 11 pro and my computer stopped getting along.). I am running Arch linux with the KDE Plasma desktop environment.

My computer is a Coolby YealBook X 14" notebook laptop from 2023. The specs are 14-inch FHD 1220\*1080 screen with intel celeron j4005 processor 14nm, 2 cores 2 threads. 12gb of High-Speed RAM and 256 ssd. I doubt this is important but it has 2.4/5g Dual-band WIFI and Bluetooth 5.1 and a 34.2wh battery.

I tried installing graphics drivers for Davinci with this cammand:

But, I am still having the same problem.

I tried posting on the DaVinci Resolve subreddit, but they just roasted me, and then my post was removed. The reason they sighted was "not enough info" and I provided ALL the info I have! I really didn't have any clue, but after a Few MONTHS of research later I think it is a problem with wayland? Hope someone can help here. Thanks in advance!

Yesterday at Walmart I bought 2 yards if 100% polyester costume satin. When I unpacked it, it had all kinds of creases, so I ironed it, but you can still see where it was creased and I also notice some spots in the middle of the fabric where the fibers are separating. (I ironed it without steam, and with the iron on the polyester setting) Any recommendations for what I should do with this fabric, and maybe where I can get better fabric in the future? Also has anyone had this issue?

A little while ago I was at a local antique store, that had this record, it was in better condition when I got it. Sadly it was water damaged, the record is fine, but the cover less so. I am wondering if anyone would have a digital version, either on youtube or soundcloud, or something. (I do have access to a record player, it is just not that convenient, so I would like to avoid it right now) I know I found one of the pieces on youtube at one point, but can't find it anymore. I don't want to spend too much time trying to hunt down a recording, as I have spent too much time trying to find a different song earlier this year. Thank you in advance!

For the past few years, I have been using cheap Bluetooth headphones, that have the option to use them wired. The problem I am running into, is I need to replace my headphones and can't find anything that 100% fits the bill anymore. All I can find online is ANC headphones, that sound like absolute garbage, and are way over-priced. The only real retailer near me is Walmart and they only really sell earbuds and kid's on-ears. My thing is I don't like the idea of stuffing things in my ears, and earbud reliability is a problem for me, as I hate large amounts of e-waste and in my opion that is what earbuds are. I also can't stand on-ear headphones for long listening sessions, and that is what I mainly use headphones for. I watch YouTube videos, listen to music, (on the web, and CDs and cassettes). I am looking for wired headphones, as if I want Bluetooth, I have a few pairs of Bluetooth only headphones. So the headphones I need/like are close backed over-ear headphones. I was looking on amazon, and really the only headphones that aren't kids headphones are studio monitors, and I am wondering if they would be okay for casual music listening.

I was looking at the Fifine brand, but am thinking against it, but maybe y'all will convince me otherwise. I then was looking at Sony's line-up, and have ruled them out, as I am sensitive to high frequencies. I am thinking of the Audio-Technica ATH-M50X as I need replaceable cables. I am also looking at the AKG Pro Audio K371 and AKG Pro Audio K361, which I am leaning towards. I listen to things on multiple devices, so they need to be easy to drive. I have recently been into listening to podcasts.

I listen to a large variety of music, but a good amount will fall between this group of music: cups pitch perfect's when I'm gone - Anna Kendrick, Adele, Folsom Prison Blues, Katy Perry, Bug hunter, It by Elliot, Walter and Bennett, and Rockin' Robin by Bobby Day.

My price is under $200 USD but preferably $100 USD or less. (I am based in the US) Here is my list of absolute musts:

• wired, over-ear, closed-back
• comfort over hours
• no tinny sound
• vocals sounding natural
• sane cable length (ideally 1.2 meters or 4 feet)
• replaceable cables
• easy to drive from lots of devices

I hope one of you can help me decide what pair of headphones to buy or recommend something that would fit my needs better! I am currently leaning toward the AKG K371, as I was thinking of the K361, but can't find a good source for replacement cables.
