I’m in NYC and considering a Candela Gentlemax Pro or Pro Plus

I’m an esthetician for context.

We have a diode laser that we’re not in love with. The owner mentioned we don’t have a relationship with the distributor anymore.

Do companies or services exist to trade lasers in exchange for another, pre-owned for pre-owned? I don’t know anything about this, so I’d appreciate any information at all.

I don’t own this laser or business, so I’m just looking for options to discuss with my boss.

What equipment do you guys use for ultrasonic cleaning and sterilizing? I’m in the US and considering a SteriDent Dry Heat Sterilizer, and not sure how to compare machines for ultrasonic cleaning

Pro-tec ITH probes are insulated, and ones that aren’t ITH are not insulated. Is this correct?

I’ve operated solo out of a separate space in my home for 5+ years now.

I’m thinking long-term, in the next 5 to 10 years, I’d love to open a storefront location so I could have room to work alongside other esthies and cosmos.

For anyone who’s opened a storefront, not just providing services at home or in a rented space: what did that process look like for you?

2. What does your rent/lease situation look like?

3. From when you decided to open a storefront, how long did it take until you opened your doors, and what did that process look like along the way?

Any input would be appreciated, even if it’s not directly related to the questions I asked! I want to begin saving and planning ahead of time so I can transition as smooth as possible when the day comes :)

I really appreciate that they heard our feedback, listened, and addressed it in a timely manner. I’ve loved this game since I was a little kid, and times like this remind me why I’m still here after all these years.

I’m also glad I didn’t take my in-progress pets out of my bag! Gonna be using this weekend to pick up where I left off :)
