Sold a car now the police are showing up saying the miles are wrong

Edit I just went back to a conversation with the buyer, they sent me a screenshot of a car fax or something but it has the vin to the car and it shows 116k miles. They then said this car has different miles everywhere

I got a picture of the title, it does show a odometer that says 220,679 then there is a remarks line that says actual mileage, I did not see this until I got this picture

Location: Tennessee

I traded for the car in question back in may on Facebook marketplace, the cluster said 55k miles on it, it’s a fairly newer car just like the one I traded so I didn’t think anything of it.

I registered it in my name, I recently sold the car the people who bought the car texted me and sent me a picture of the title where it shows 220k miles, I was unaware of this, I told them I did not change the miles on the car I wouldn’t even know how to do that.

Fast forward to today a highway patrol officer stopped by my house and I answered the ring doorbell, he had the title in hand and said that they had a complaint to their office about a mileage discrepancy on a vehicle I just sold.

What do I do? I was not trying to wrong anybody, I’ve traded cars before but I’ve never had an issue like this.

98 Chevy 1500

Just bought the truck and it’s leaking break fluid, it seems like this line is cut as you can see in the video. The end looks dry though but the base that’s still connected looks like it’s leaking. How can I fix this?

Joining with a family

I’ll start by saying I’ve been researching this for a few years now. I’m 23 years old, my wife is 22, and we have a 5-year-old with another baby due in September.

I previously had a great job that I was at for about a year. When I first started there, the conversation was that if things didn’t work out, joining the Army was something I would seriously consider. Unfortunately, I ended up getting laid off.

I’m currently working at an Army ammunition plant, which has great growth opportunities, but being in an entry-level position right now, the pay just isn’t enough. After all of our bills are paid, I’m left with around $42.

Our expenses besides housing are about $600 for vehicles, and we’re struggling to have any room to save or get ahead.

After a lot of research and thinking it through, I’m considering going Active Duty Army. Between on-post housing or BAH, healthcare, and the other benefits, it seems like it could give my family some stability and allow us to actually save money instead of just surviving.

I’m looking at signing a 3-year contract and would like to hear from people who are currently enlisted or have been in a similar situation. How was the transition with a spouse and kids?

Do you feel the benefits and stability were worth it?

What are some things you wish you knew before joining?
Any advice or experiences would be appreciated.

21 day water fast

I’m starting a 21-day water fast. I’m in the process of joining the Army, and my goal is to get down to 211 lbs as quickly as I can. I’m currently 6’2” and 240 lbs. At my heaviest, I was 260 lbs, but last year I fasted my way down to 215 lbs. Unfortunately, life happened, I fell back into old eating habits, and gained weight again.
This time is different because I have a clear goal. I’m not just trying to make weight for enlistment—I want to build healthier habits, start running consistently, improve my fitness, and be in the best shape I can be before Basic Training.
For those of you who have completed an extended water fast, what advice would you give? What helped you get through it, and what would you do differently if you had to do it again? Any tips or lessons learned would be appreciated.

Nexus by bravo homes

Looking to get a manufactured home, this is something that caught our eye, we’d be coming from a 2 bedroom house so the space is what sold us. Has anyone got one of these? How is the quality? We’re going to be putting it on 5 acres of land in tn but still looking at other builds, but this one is at the top

High mileage 6.7

Found 2018 f250 6.7 it’s got 260k for 16k
I’m paying cash for the truck just wondering if 16k is worth it. It has all the maintenance documentation on it, what should I look for?

High mile 6.7

My F-150 recently burned up because of a wiring harness fire, so I’m in the market for an F-250. I’m looking for at least a 2017 model and have around $15,000 cash to spend, so I know it’ll probably have some miles on it. Any advice on what years, engines, or common issues I should be looking out for before I buy?

How do I get a clean edge with this?

This is a walkway from living room to kitchen

EDIT….. i first thought that the wood was the stud and they just stained it, i wasn’t able to fit any drywall on it because it wasn’t lining up, I just went ahead and took the trim off in the other side of it in the kitchen and it wasn’t the stud so I can now use corner bead and just drywall it
