These 2 beauts walked right past my front door right when I got home from work.

Yesterday I won a trophy for Best in Show Showroom Stock Example. 😂
I then bid in the silent auction and won the bronze Sparcos for $1,000. They are mounted, balanced, ceramic coated, and wrapped in new Goodyear Assurance winters.
The event was all for charity too.

Set myself a goal in spring to ride from my home town to this town south of me. Today checked it off and got myself a nice meal at the end!
Now to keep riding and growing my endurance.

In my 20’s I used to ride all the time. I’m now about to turn 41 and have started cycling again after a decade of not doing it. This is my longest ride of the season so far. I ride a 20 y/o trek hybrid.
I promised myself this year that if I make it thru the whole season I’ll get myself something new in spring.
Also this 15 mile ride is my first time ever with padded bike shorts. Holy crap what a game changer!

My wife and I were walking in McKee Farms and saw this big Blue Heron. Not until I looked back at the photos did I notice the Green Heron in the background!

On a scale of 1-10 how fucked am I? Went to install a Billetworkz knob and got the threaded adapter stuck. I don’t have a needle nose pliers. I tried tightening against the jam nut hoping to get it to stick and come out but to no avail.

Update: tried needle nose pliers. They fit but the adapter wouldn’t budge at all.

Update 2: blue loctite didn’t work.
