Should i be concerned about the cysts on my liver, here is the report :
Age: 27
Sex: Male
Height: 170 cm
Weight: 55 kg
Race/Ethnicity: North African (White)
Duration of Complaint: 4 months
Location: Digestive system
Relevant Medical History: History of H. pylori infection (treated with Pylera); currently suspected of having eosinophilic ileo-colitis.
Current Medications: Desloratadine (Deslor)
Context/Report Summary
I am posting my recent Entero-CT scan results to seek further insight regarding chronic diarrhea that has persisted for 4 months. I was previously diagnosed with H. pylori and completed the full Pylera treatment course, but my digestive symptoms have continued. My doctor is currently investigating the possibility of eosinophilic ileo-colitis.
Entero-CT Findings:
Digestive Tract: Dolichocolon with associated colonic fecal stasis (most prominent in the sigmoid/rectum); no detectable organic lesions. No abnormalities in small bowel loops; no wall thickening. Appendix is normal (4 mm).
Other: Few scattered biliary microcysts in the liver; otherwise unremarkable.
Conclusion: Dolichocolon with fecal stasis, no evidence of inflammatory bowel disease or other organic lesions on scan.
Question:
Given that the Entero-CT shows no organic lesions or bowel wall thickening, does this make a diagnosis of eosinophilic ileo-colitis less likely, or can it still be present? Also, could the post-H. pylori treatment period still be causing these symptoms 4 months later, or should I be looking into other potential causes given my history?
Pelvis:
Bladder with thin, regular walls and fluid content.
Prostate is homogeneous and normal in size, with a small central calcification, likely sequellar (old/non-progressive).
No pelvic abnormalities.
Bone Structures: No focal bone lesions suspicious for progressive disease.
Conclusion
Dolichocolon with associated colonic fecal stasis; no detectable organic lesions.
No abnormalities in the morphology or caliber of the digestive loops.
A few scattered biliary microcysts in the liver.
Entero-CT scan otherwise unremarkable.
