Excited for the start of Wave 3 in my Then & Now series. I remember getting this figure for Christmas. Definitely an upgrade from the first set of figures like this (see my 1st form Frieza post.) Bandai really hit this sculpt out of the park!
Hands down, that Ecliptor figure was in my top 5 most played with figures of all time. I loved the way it looked and it doubled as a bad guy for many, many other figures.
My favorite wrestler of all time joins Wave 2 of my Then & Now series. Little Sting was one of the first wrestling figures I ever owned. It came in a 4-Pack with Lex Luger, The Giant, and Kevin Nash.
One of my favorite figures of all time joins Wave 2 of my Then & Now series. Lots of hours spent playing with this figure as a kid. And boy does the upgrade look like an UPGRADE.
Wave 2 of my Then & Now series kicks off with Andros, the In Space Red Ranger! In Space is a top 3 season for me easily! These old figures include the Galaxy Glider figure, a standard figure, and the Battleizer Armor figure.
I've been working on a project called Then & Now featuring figures from my childhood collection and my current collection. It's been fun seeing how much technology has changed for different companies over the course of 30 years.

SSJ4 Goku is the last figure in the first wave of my Then & Now series. I remember ordering it on my grandmother's computer and was one of the first things I ever bought on the Internet. This guy was a staple in my collection for a very long time.
The last Ranger joining Wave 1 of my Then & Now series is the White Ninjetti Ranger. This figure is pushing 30 and time has not been kind. Compared to some of the other white colored figures I have, this one is by far the most yellow. Still, many fond memories playing with this guy.
The Blue Beetleborg joins Wave 1 of my series called Then & Now where I compare toys from youth to their modern counterparts. This was one of my favorites as a kid and, despite being dirty from surviving a tornado, this figure has held up surprisingly well!
Frieza is a part of Wave 1 of a new series I'm doing called Then & Now! This was probably the first Frieza figure I ever got as a kid and I've had it ever since.
Just shows how amazing toy technology has progressed.
I've started a new series called Then & Now with Spider-Man a part of Wave 1. The older figure was a 1994 Toy Biz production. It surprisingly held up well 30+ years later.
I consider this part of Wave 1 of a new series I've started called Then & Now! Nearly 30 years separate these two figures releasing. Crazy to see how far technology has come in the toy industry.
This is my first Hulk figure since branching out from Spider-Man and Wolverine. I didn't know how to feel about the soft chest, but it's honestly not that bad. I guess not having a baseline to compare it to muddles my opinion a bit, but I still give this an overall A score.
I'm really loving the My Hero line so far. Just got Shiggy and Iron Might recently, can't wait to see where the line goes!
