Is it true some of y'all make 40 an hour plus?

I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. Ain't smart enough to go to college for something worth the money so trades it is for me. I've been looking at welding, mill right, HVHC , robot technician , electrical, diesel mechanic , something CDL? Really haven't decided on something yet and probably won't for another year but I'm always researching.

I'm comfortable with working somewhere for awhile as long as I enjoy it so hearing 40 something after some amount even 10 years is enough to peak my interest in UPS.

I know there's more than just delivering. There's trucking including feeder routes and there's I'm guessing an aviation side for ground handling?

One single itty bitty rust spot but otherwise clean af Toyota Camry

It's just beautiful! I love finding these oddly well persevered everyday cars It's like a modern bel air or a Chevy tri 5.

Btw it's 90 degrees outside and she comes in and lays on the ground as a very hot hippo. She doesn't want to listen to the advice about coming in so I have to bribe her with some pizza. You cannot convince me there's a single thought rattling in the brain of this dog

No clue why she as a chunky dog that's inconveniently all black enjoys sitting outside in the roaring sun in 91 degree weather. She doesn't like being forced in but will eventually come in. My mother rightfully is afraid of her overheating so she forces Lucy inside.

How do I kindly tell my GF to not bring up bottom surgery without my permission. TW cutting dysphoria?

We are both MtF and tbh i never thought this was a trigger or pain point. She started asking questions about bottom surgery and talking about some girl getting it and I just snapped and told enough and really I just wanted to leave and I told her I got gut issues rn talk tomorrow and hung up.

What happened inside is I became so aware and dysphoric about my genitals in a extremely mentally and emotionally painful way. I felt like cutting something I haven't done in over 4 to 6 years. I just feels so much mental pain and so much pain about my dick and balls. Idk why I was so distressed. It was so weird I normally only think/have extremely extremely low dysphoria about my balls.

Which TBH I've never thought about my feelings and everything about until yesterday/today.

What's weird is we sometimes talk about being pregnant one day or having kids. I... I don't know what happened. Idk if it's because I missed a dose of meds or what but it sucked. I've not felt so shitty and pained since my great aunt died last year and TBH it was more painful than that moment

She's a sensitive gal and very curious I just don't know how to gently explain why she can't bring up that subject. I don't want her to feel guilty or bad or feel like she needs to say sorry. She is a very gentle bean who is easy to hurt and I don't want to hurt her over this. I already feel bad about my anger and rudeness leaving our call.

Drivers license at 22 I'm really confused by the BMV

I can't understand if I need to both hold my permit for 180 days and have 10 night hours and 50 day hours before I can take a driver's test at my age.

Its not very clear if I need to meet one of the requirements or not.

I'm hopping I don't need to hold my permit for 180 days and I can just do 60 hours of driving.

I'm going to get an EV in the next couple months. I'm going with 16k or lower I'm considering the following options can anyone advice me on best option?

Volvo XC40 P8 R-Design , polestar 2 , model S , model 3 , ID4 and bolt are my serious considering category

Kona ,niro , soul EV ,mini EV and ioniq are my medium to strong maybes

There's of course others I've seen pop up on car fax near me (250 miles) the leaf , focus EV , B class EV , E golf , I3 , spark EV and I-MiEV but for obvious reason like range and a rarer plug type I just can't seriously consider them unfortunately.

It's embarrassingly gonna be my first car. I don't want to FAFO with gas. The decision is at least 2 to 4 months away but I want to research as much as possible beforehand so I can walk away confident that it's going to last awhile even if I have to put in another 1k or 2k at first (coolant delete)

I know I'm going to need to go far on avg but I'm still a little conscious of range as in the future I'm getting into the trades and I don't know what trade exactly I don't know if I'll have to commute farther or not. If I have to go to Chicago I'm a bike ride away (once I move) from the SSL station.

2016 and older models what should I look for.

I'm considering a Model S that's 2016 or older as I have a limited budget and don't want to FAFO with gas.

I know there's issues with the cooling system and I would need to get a coolant delete very soon after buying at least I think? Besides that and maybe battery issues? I know some model S's have gained high miles but unfortunately usually after a battery replacement , what should I look for?

Edit: I know the LDU went from standard to optional on post 2016 cars and there're a couple 2017s for sale on carfax which trims did and didn't have the LDU?

A couple questions for future planning

I'm probably not going to do this for another 2 to 12 months.

  1. How much would a container 40 foot High cube?

  2. How much should I budget to rent equipment to likely lift the container over the fence (typical chain link fence.

Is a 40 foot container worth it? I want to build a workshop for woodworking and future metal work like welding. I would need to store materials and tools install a door and for good measure install wheels to make it more kosher under city code.

I plan on going overboard with insulation about a foot of closed cell foam on all surfaces and I'll run electrical in conduit outside of the walls for simplicity sake.

For heating and cooling I'll get a mini split or window unit and either a pellet or wood stove for the winter. Long term a mass heater

I really like the container idea as a shed would be really easy to get damaged in a bad enough storm. There's a existing wooden shed on the property that's been standing as long as Google Street imagines have existed of the property. (07) But still and unlike a garage I would imagine the container would be considered a temp structure and thus less permitting and planning required.

There's a 80% chance this never happens sadly as majority of my big ideas just never materialize so if it's not a good idea it doesn't matter as this is one of like 10 different ideas I've had over the years to do something big and it never happens. Hopefully getting a new job and moving in to the house that could have the container is nice. All else fails I'll just reno the basement to make a soundproof room or I'll rent a space.

As Hank Williams III said I don't know. But ain't sayin' won't try To do it all before die I just might win.

I just graduated with a GED , I have to get a job after I move to South bend (I'm living with my mom and she's moving its side details) and save up for getting a driver's license and to pay the bills associated with a car (yes I'm almost 22 without a license I had a IEP I'm a little slow again details)

Beyond that I have 0 fucking clue what to do. I know I want to do trades. I don't know if I'm going to trade school or apprenticeship I don't if I'm just going to walk into a union hall or workplace and say I'll sweep floors and scrub toilets for 7 to 16 an hour Aka be a gopher. What trade school or union or anything? No fucking clue

Welding has been my default. I mean the long answer would normally be something to do with installing and maintaining automation machines. (Robo doc. I LOVE the big single arm robots) I'm pretty much willing to do anything that doesn't include working with shit. I think?

For travelling I mean I live with my mom so relocating and paying 1k in rent sounds pretty raw RN. But I have to grow up and GTFO out the nest eventually. I don't know I can't say what I would and wouldn't like without doing it ya know?

If I can get something similar to my kitchen job where I just put in headphones do my list and check in with the boss to see if the parsley is diced fine enough. Dish washing was lovely because I can really do that and fall into my optimized rut where I can sling out productivity.

Listen I'm not looking to make 300k and drive a Porsche anytime soon even if that is remotely possible. Just 1 dollar more than 21 an hour sometime in the next 2 or 4 years is all I want out of my job. I live in portage Indiana RN but will move to South bend Indiana. Don't mind driving an hour to an opportunity if need be I mean an hour drive is why my mom is moving to SB.

I don't know. For math I got a 8 on the Hiset I needed a 8 to pass and grab the diploma.

If this is a mess I'll delete and repost in a couple months.
