I'm ALMOST there

Which achievement should I prioritise? I feel like the king dice achievement is gonna be easy and probably should be left for the last one so I can rest but idk, how did you guys do it?

u/I_Love_Ohyas_Thigs — 11 days ago

What can you guys say about my party?

This is what I've been using for now

I'm on my second playthrough so I'm still testing rings on all characters to see which combos I like the most

Ivy hasn't changed BCS Ivy+Lyn has been working wonders for me In both playthroughs and I have no intention to change it

Yunaka/Camilla is also being really cool

Camilla is broken but even acknowledging that I feel like Yunaka REALLY uses her emblem pretty well and hits like a truck

Note in this second playthrough I'm on stage 19 so I still don't have all rings yet I'm really interested in recovering micaiah for obvious reasons

Unlocking the divine relic for 100% purposes: can you repeat the same boss eternally to earn points or you need to beat differents bosses each time?

This is one of my last achievements

I have read guides about it but no one actually clarifies that so I was confused

Can I just beat Guppy or the vegetables 300 times to unlock it by cheesing it or do I have to beat different bosses for it to count towards the point count?

In case you havent seen it (and you play on steam)

If you want something like a DBD ranked mode you can follow the people that are already doing this

The idea is to use the no Cross-play servers as a ranked mode and have like a pact of sweatness in which everyone tryhards as much as possible

This can be really cool in case you want to test a build in a real tryhard scenario or want to improve with an specific character

Idk, I saw Otz's video and I thought it could be awesome

I fucking swear that if the game crashes once more and I have to eat a penalty I don't deserve I will be burning something

(ignore build I was just being silly)

Tier List of how bad I consider myself at each DBD killer (yes I got salty BCS I'm really bad at the new killer)

I swear it's impossible to aim those fucking beams

A game from my childhood that I would like to play again

Hi! If you'd be so kind, I would love for someone to tell me which game I'm trying to remember

It was a game for the DS, it was a racing party game (a Mario Kart clon), the playable characters were monsters and it was a 3d game

I know it's almost not information at all, I barely remember the game but if you guys know which game am I talking about please tell me

I have problems on Byleth Vs Ike (as Byleth)

I'm humblingly asking for help BCS this match up is one of those where I genuinely don't know how I'm struggling

NGL, I recently got 3-0d by a guy on ranked playing Ike and I'm kinda tilted

In theory, this should be an easy match up for byleth

Byleth can easily outrange Ike and punish interactions with fair and Bair

Ike has really bad grounded moves so he's kinda forced to spam aerials since they are some of the only moves that Ike can use without committing an entire stock for it

Also Ike has a really bad recovery so should be insanely easy for byleth to edgeguard the fuck out of him

That's theory, in practice I always get readed and die at 80 like a noob on hits that I should be expecting and I have problems recovering from the disadvantage state

And since no one plays Ike I have nearly no opportunity to practice this match up, so I always get humiliated in many stupid ways

What can I do to get better?

Shamir REALLY wanted this shit to be over lmao

Shamir attacked 4 times in that turn in which she literally critted 3 times with each of them having a 22%

She truly said "I have no time for this shit man, gotta head home for some sesbian lex with Byleth"

I've had double crits before but hitting 3 out of 4 crits is a new one

Correct me if I'm wrong but that would be 100 X 0.22 X 0.22 X 0.78 X 0.22

Which is a 0.83% of happening... What the actual fuck

Also in this mission Byleth hit 4 crits with 30% each one, Catherine hit 1 Crit with 28%, Ingrid hit 3 crits with 32% and Dimitri hit 1 crit with 15%

I have no evidence of those ones so fair enough if you don't trust me

But what the actual fuck man, this gotta be my luckiest mission ever in all of my time playing fire emblem games

Post to recommend safe apps to replace common apps like WhatsApp and Discord

After today's result I think it's wise to make this post so everyone can recommend the apps they use to help everyone protect themselves from these totalitarian oligarchs

Just wanted to show what I got today :)

Just that, pretty excited about echoes since I've heard great things about it!

u/I_Love_Ohyas_Thigs — 4 months ago

I'm not complaining about luck in this game ever again

On my 4 runs of the game this is by far the luckiest thing that happened to me by far

The professor came in clutch

It meant nothing BCS 1 crit 1 average would have taken the first hp bar, but it was cool AF

Something I think Fates did better than 3H

In my opinion that can perfectly change as I finish my first run of fates I feel like both games are incredible and equally great

But something that in my opinion was done so SO much better in Fates than in 3H was the run selection scene (assuming you are playing the special edition therefore you can select all options at that moment)

The main difference is, while both happen pretty early on the adventure

what 3h fails to do is to give you reasons to think about it well and really feel the choice as if it was you

It makes sense BCS fates has much much less units to introduce from both armies and 3h has three classes of people to introduce before you can choose who you want to have by your side

But still, when you are given the choice between Edelgard, Dimitri or Claude you barely know them at all

In Fates you have direct emotional ties to both options

It's either betray people that love you or still betray people that love and have been waiting for you their entire life

It's a really really powerful scene, it doesn't matter what you choose you feel really bad

Even in CF with the choice between Rhea and Edelgard it really doesn't feel that emotional BCS you are not given reasons why Byleth should feel emotionally attached to Rhea

She's their boss, it's the equivalent of killing a kid you have taught for an entire school year or betraying your boss

Boss who you did not even choose BCS all of the events that lead to byleth working for the church are purely random and could have perfectly never happened

While Corrin has to choose between betraying their family, destroying all they have known for their entire life to avoid being controlled by a psychopath or being forced to kill innocents just to fulfill the expansionists desires of your psychopath "father"

Byleth just chooses to teach 1 of 3 classes out of pure esthetic BCS you literally do not know them

As a Byleth player, which main secondary should I choose?

I've been running with Min Min, Aegis and Corrin for now but I feel I cannot really do shit against Pikachu or Shulk since none of my characters do partially well against them

Any help?

And with this, my first playthrough of FETH is over

I loved every single minute of it, no jokes probably one of my favourite switch games (not my favourite BCS I'm a heavy SMT fan and SMTV was a masterpiece)

It was short (around 45h, I'm aware Edelgard route is the shortest one) but incredibly sweet, the soundtrack is amazing and the history is lovely

I cried more than I want to admit playing this and I grew to love almost all the cast

Definitely gonna play the rest of the routes but for now I want to start FE Fates (I still don't know which one, probably conquest)

Also, didn't know giving her the ring would trigger an incredibly cute lesbian scene (thought she was dead in the first place?????)

Since Sothis is partially byleth's blood (at least that's what I understood) it's probably cursed but I don't want to think much about it

u/I_Love_Ohyas_Thigs — 5 months ago

Truth be told, I'm still not sure Edelgard would be a good leader but Rhea's a bitch and I want her dead

At least Edelgard is honest, Rhea literally has only been weaponizing Byleth their entire life plus killing people randomly for standing in her way

I never liked Rhea and the church at all but after everything that happened in chapter 9 they've gone from psychos to dangerous extremists and for peace they should disappear.

So, I guess I'm sorry Edelgard, should have never doubted you and all of that

I see her more as a necessary wrong, it's not great but it's absolutely better than the church (still fucking despise Hubert, tho)

Also gotta say, kinda funny that I said that she would invade a random village and call it god's plan

Definitely hasn't aged well XD

In general that post hasn't aged well, practically everything I said was wrong but I guess that's what happens when you do first impressions

You tend to be wrong xd

Another topic I would like to talk about is that I love how they managed Jeralt's death

I would have hated if we just saved him going back in time

The change in the atmosphere in general is great

I love the conversation Edelgard has with you the next day he dies

You could interpret it as she's manipulating you so you join her cause but I actually see it as pretty genuine and shows Edelgard personality pretty well

I love how accidentally direct she is

She saying "damn, you can cry?" Made me laugh my ass off XD.

Predicting the future, Dimitri is going to be heavily against us since it has been heavily implied the church and the kingdom are really strong allies, he's gonna see Edelgard as a cynical traitor

And Claude is probably not going to take a side, I don't think it would make that much sense for a small nation to go against the church with how much power they have but it would also be stupid to take a strong pro-church position since them being so small would make them an easy target for Edelgard

So their best option is for them to stay neutral.

In conclusion, I'm loving this game and can't wait to keep playing :)
