It’s my birthday. Another one all by myself, down in the dumps. Haven’t spoken to anyone all day. I don’t think I have the strength to survive the day.

International Students: anyone talk to ISSS recently regarding CPT approval?

Stressed about new CPT rules and whether or not we will be able to do internships!

I’m a new student and might plan to withdraw if that’s the case. I don’t think my American educational experience will be the same without internships.

Course credit CPT will not be possible. Please rethink your decision to come to the U.S.! Edit: Or choose your schools very carefully — understand their policy on this and their willingness to work with you in case you land an internship. Some schools do that co-op CPT thing while others are doing the blanket ban.

Edit: If one doesn’t aspire to do an internship — sure!

I looked at 3003 van ness and horrible reviews. Has anyone lived there? I like the price point there.

Suggest other buildings too! On Red Line/easy commute to AU.
