Ff should be removed

In general you shouldn't be able to surrender. It leads to toxic play. We all have so many stories of people calling ff after dying in lane around 5 min and then checking out of the game after ff is denied. Its counter intuitive but the removal of it will lead to less toxicity.

If someone is afk, then you can ff.

How to determine a job is OE friendly during interview?

You all have inspired me. I'm wasting such opportunity by not OE'ing.

Currently J1 isnt OE friendly, so how do I evaluate during interview process that a J is OE friendly? Obviously remote, but how do I probe to know things like, is my calendar shared? Am I needed spur of the moment/on call? If I need the day off suddenly (in case J2 needs urgent attention) is that acceptable?

I can ask some during the interview but I don't want to ask too much. Do you just take J1 knowing it's a roll of the dice?

Are the comeback mechanics OP in 'mid' elo?

I feel like around gold-emerald the shutdowns, obj bounties and catch up XP are so strong. If you dont end the game with you lead, the enemy team can and will come back. And thats actually probably a good thing, but it doesnt always feel good.

I feel like getting too far ahead early is almost punishing. I recently had a good game I was like 4/0/3 as jg. Opponent jg had the same kd, and was behind by like 2 camps. I have a shutdown and they dont because team diff. I died to enemy jg and they got an item lead. Later in the game they had even items even though they were again slightly behind me. They kept up bc they killed me when I was even with them, and got the shutdown.

Is collector bad against bruiser teams?

I started going collector > titanic > ldr almost every game. But against bruiser teams should I swap ldr for black cleaver? Only if I need survivability? When is bork > black cleaver better?

Really struggling to understand when and how I kill tanks/bruiser. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

What magnification is too much?

A local store has a very good deal on a Vortex Diamonback 4-12x40 scope. I am building my first hunting rifle and I'm worried that 4x is too much for shots within 100 yards.

I hunt mostly heavily wooded mountains. I expect many shots between 50 and 150 yards

How to carry build/strat

E4 here. I keep finding myself ahead, like 4/0/0 ahead. But i struggle to win. I carry into midgame and either team takes advantage and we win early/team carries me late game. Or ai cant close out and get out carried late game. What should I be doing once ahead? A few problems ive identified:

  1. Build

I start bork/titanic and then dont know what to do. I can just go BC and finish brusier build but sometimes I feel like I should pivot to more damage but I don't know what is next. What is a good damage item when ahead? Is LDR a good third option here? What about sundered sky?

  1. Macro

I think I should start invading and denying enemy jg everything I can and gank/pressure side lanes when possible. I think my problem is I get stuck in the meat grinder of 5v5 and cant out carry whoever is ahead on enemy team

  1. Team fights

When they have a bruiser or dive champ that's ahead I struggle to know what to do. If I dive the backline I feel like my team just dies and I cant clean up. But when I front line, we dont have the damage to kill front to back. This might just be woe is me, or misunderstanding who on my team is strong. I think when I get ahead a lot of the time I'm playing against another person thats ahead and it's who can carry better. Maybe this goes back to 2, limit team fights?

When to build QSS?

When, if at all, do you build it? I've had a few games where I get ahead but struggle to carry because malz ults me.

It clicked to buy it after my first two items and it helped me maintain my momentum. Im surprised I don't ever see any briar players with it, really seems useful against malz, ram jg, various supps

Am I an animal for spamming ranked?

Here's how I play league:

  1. Login

  2. Queue solo ranked

  3. Repeat step 2, 1-3 times

  4. Get off

I do that like 2-4 days a week. This is a bit extreme, as my schedule changed. I'll probably go back to only playing on weekends soon. Regardless, I got to E4 this way from silver. I think its time to use the practice tool, watch my own vods etc, but idk, Ill remain stubborn until I realize I cant climb anymore

How do increase clear speed?

Any good tools? Ive tried to watch a clear and replicate it in the practice tool but I just cant seem to get to scuttle before it spawns.

Brair mid... fluke?

Took a break from ranked jg to play unranked mid, inspired by Logan of course. I popped off... so I did it a few more times. Literally some of the best games I've ever played. Took it ranked only to go even but still win. Is this actually viable in Emerald, or should I stick to jg? Seems like norms was just people who couldn't figure out the match up. I feel like if I'm struggling in jg, then mid won't magically turn the climb back on.

Ya'll having success mid? Are your builds as diverse/versatile as jg? Preferred bans?

What elo does expanding to 2 champs become better than otp?

Briar main, but I'm pretty comfortable on amumu as well. I only lock in brair, but I've mained briar (and previously mumu) long enough that I think picking based on comp might be better. Im hardstuck emerald.

When do you switch otp?

I've been playing briar otp for about 9 months. I got to emerald for the first time. I can see i need a lot of growth to continue to climb. Im unsure if I want to break that wall with briar. I got to plat by otp WW then Im unsure if other players understood the champ or I needed to learn jg better. I switched, was worse for a little and then started to excel. My mum wr is high but not a ton of games. I'm not sure I'm ready to depend on team yet, the teamwork seems hit or miss in emerald.

When do you decide to find a new champ?

What elo do tank/engage jg become more viable?

First time emerald

I started playing in 2012 with friends. We didnt play seriously, it was just a fun time. They started to get more intense but I was busy with other things. I was ashamed I was the worst but we'd drink and mess around. Senior year of high school i made $100 bet id beat one guy to gold. I lost. My winrate was way better but i only got a few games in a week. After college, we reconnected on the rift and I was still the lowest rank. And now I match the highest in the group. Thank you Briar.

Do you scuttle on time?

I can't get to scuttle on time. Normally I get there at 3 min with a raptors start, one smite. Honestly it's rare I get beat and can't fight/smite for it. Obviously I should work on it, but how big of a deal do you think it is? Tips on how to practice? I use the tool, but still can't get there, maybe I need to do perfect one side instead of practicing the whole clear.

Plat 1, 93 lp wish me luck
