Who was the best daughter?

Who was the best daughter?

I think it's Abby by far.

Both fathers were coddling their daughters but Ellie was resenting Joel and telling him what he should or shouldn't do while Abby was very affectionate with Jerry just like he was with her.

Part 2 Joel lack agency as a character

During all his scenes with Ellie, all Joel dose is coddle Ellie and never argue with what she say or show any dissatisfaction by how much she resent him.

Joel and Ellie's argument in Part 1 about whether she should go with Tommy or not was very interesting because of the back and forth.

They aren't trying to hide their bias

"You don't understand, what we need is more of Ishida's low-diff fights, it improves the plot" - Pierrot Films, probably.

What's your opinion on Bleach anime getting a remake, do you think it's possible and would you like it?

Personally, I think full remake is unlikely given how long the manga was and how much it took them to adapt TYBW Arc ( around 207 CH long ).

However, it will be great if they remaked the Substitute Soul Reaper Arc with high quality animation, it had the most amount of differences between manga and anime + it will Bleach easier to get into for new audiences.

ONK cast would have benefited from more focus on their school life

I have seen it few times in sport manga, where authors explore the characters emotions and thought process when it comes to what they should do after graduation, "Should they continue with their study or dedicate all their time for their profession? "

Also, I thought Ruby and Kana had sweet friendship ( probably one of the few normal and healthy relationships in ONK ), so I would have liked to see them support each other in their paths as actress/idol more.

Asav would have one-shoted both of Nate and Sam with a flick of his finger.

Nadine was beating up the Drake brothers with ease but failed to keep up with Asav despite fighting him alongside Chole, that guy was a monster.

Contents that were removed because they were "inconvenient" for the narrative of the anime version.

They wanted to make Ishida an actual successor of Yhwach and wanted the audience to believe that he joined the Quinces because he agree with Yhwach ideals.

There were a lot of plot alterations when it comes to Pierrot Film's favorite character in Bleach.

The new anime replaced the Ichiruki agenda with Ishida agenda

Most of the additions were about Ishida and they were fine with altering the source material if needed to do so, like the fight against Squad 0 and the fight against Hasch ( Yhwach is awake but Hasch still has his powers somehow ).

While Ichigo had two anime original fights where he jobbed against Yhwach and Ishida ( As if his treatment in the manga wasn't already a bit harsh ).

The Last of Us Part 2 wasn't a proper sequel to Part 1 and Abby was the de facto main protagonist.

Ellie's obsession with Abby and her gang in the first half was used to explore them and the WLF group.

While Abby's storyline in the second half ( main focus ) explored the people around her along with the conflict between WLF and Seraphites.

Abby had three boss fights: Rat king, Tommy and Ellie.

Ellie had one boss fight: An exhausted Abby.

Abby had character development and proper conclusion at Santa Barbara, while Ellie had a revenge focused plotline that was centered around Abby and then she chose to spare her, that's it.

Ishida is a boring Gary Stu character in TYBW anime

I originally posted this in the main sub but the mods removed it because "it's power scaling" even though it clearly wasn't the main point of the post...

Anyway, Kubo always write hardships for the cast and doesn't shay away from allowing them to loss, be vulnerable or make mistakes but Ishida went from being much weaker than base Ginjo to being on par or stronger than Yamamoto without any of that.

Tbh, I am starting to think Rukia, Renji and Orihime are the only interesting characters in Ichigo's group.

GOW Norse mythology games were what TLOU games should have been.

In my opinion, GOW ( 2018 ) was heavily inspired by TLOU: the emotional core is the parent and child relationship, the two wanted to reach a specific destination which made them travel to different places and meet different people etc.

However, unlike TLOU sequel, GOW ( 2018 ) sequel didn't throw away the essence of the story of the original game and expanded on it.

They could have used what happened at the Fireflies hospital as the main drama between Joel and Ellie, exploring it impact on Ellie and what she will decide to do moving forward etc

Chainsaw Man Part 1 probably had the most underutilized cast in Shonen Jump.

No one aside from Denji was allowed to shine enough.

Aki who was the second most permanent character in the main cast didn't had any proper fights aside from the one against Swatari and his role in the rest of the story was supporting Denji.

Power was a simply a comic relief after her introduction Arc ( she was good in this role though, to be fair ) and she didn't have much screentime or agency.

Kishibi was the "strongest devil hunter" but he had no feats, jobbed against Makima and then proceed to put all his hopes on Denji, who defeated Makima without issue from first try.

Even Makima, who is the main antagonist, wasn't allowed to interfere, she was taken out of Santa Clasue fight somehow and asked Denji to beat her.

Pochita ( GOAT ) was the only character who had decent amount of spotlight aside from Denji but I believe he is supposed to be the deuteragonist, so I don't think what he got in the Control Devil Arc was enough.
