10yrs 2 kids later..

Might be kind of long but I'll keep it as short as I can as far as filling in the last 10yrs. Im 32 F he's 33 M

Relationship started as a friend's with benefits type of deal but progressed into more, during that time I was constantly being gaslit while he was doing all kinds of dirty things. 4 years in I get pregnant, and he really didn't support me the way he should've. I was hospitalized 7wks for my water leaking and he showed up 4 times, one being the birth and he left immediately after the delivery and never came once during the 11 day nicu stay.

After our first was born he did make good changes. He seemed to be a lot more affectionate with me and communicate good, but after our child was born I found out he'd slept with 10 different women before I'd ever gotten pregnant. And 10 is just what I KNOW about, but I reluctantly worked through because it was years old and he had shown real change. The way he did it all was very disgusting and unsafe for me.

Things went downhill about two years ago when our child was 3. Just get the silent treatment every time I raise an issue. I've broken my back to be there for this man any time he needed it while drowning myself in the process. He was even homeless at one point and I made sure I saved every dollar I could to get us into a place. He got a job after and has always acted stingy with money towards me, never has complimented me or really went out of his way to do anything nice besides a handful of times.

Well I got pregnant again, and this one was rough too. I couldn't work but I saved up enough to split bills and still support our 1st and buy household necessities. Well anyway I had our 2nd in June and my bf lost his job right after. He was there for the birth (after me arguing with him to stay) and visited once the 5 days we were there. After me & baby got home I was still healing from a 2nd degree tear and he basically didn't help much. Our baby has severe acid reflux, along with other stomach issues and really can't be put down. So I've done 99% of the care for the baby plus our 5yr old, feeding, changing, bathing etc.

He'll feed the baby when I bring the baby to him along with a bottle, but he's constantly playing video games while I can't even maintain our house bc of the baby. My stitches didn't heal right bc I was constantly moving taking care of both kids while also trying to clean and also paying all bills alone since he got fired. I don't even care about the video games, but I've noticed theres a certain female he plays with on there from time to time that he basically openly flirts with and I'm kind of at my tipping point. He hasn't even attempted to be intimate with me but super flirty with a random woman on the internet while I'm freshly postpartum taking care of everything. I know when I bring this up I'm gonna be treated like I'm crazy and overreacting. I just feel done and want to just be alone atp but don't even know how I'm gonna swing it.

Also feel partially bad leaving him when he has no job or transportation, but this is the same man who doesn't even know my birthday after 10 years. Like yeah it's a video game, he'll never meet the female but with the history and the fact I'm postpartum and get no attention or help in any capacity I'm like is it justified to end a relationship over or are these postpartum hormones making me crazy?? I went to their chat on the ps and seen a msg where the girl wrote "crazy you get off the game as soon as I get on 🙄" so if it isn't like that then why would she say that?? If he would entertain someone on a video game, then I have no doubt he would do it again if given the right opportunity.

So long post sorry in advance. My son is 8 weeks old, I delivered him very quickly in about 5 minutes after they had to give me an amniotic infusion due to the belief he was in distress from a compressed cord. So from day 1, he was crying a lot and had an upset stomach. He kept gagging and chewing which they assured me was due to the fluid and would pass, during that time I was pressured into making sure he ate a certain amount. Due to his stomach ache he wouldn't latch so they gave me formula.

Started with similac 360 advance, he spit it up. So then they gave us similac sensitive, and he was still inconsolable. Wouldn't sleep or be able to lay flat. During this time I'm pumping & also giving him whatever I pump, then we go home and I notice his diaper rash is giving him acidic burns. He had that about a week (so at 2wks old) and sulpher smelling farts/stools & was very clearly in pain. I then switch him myself to Similac Gentle Comfort, bc it's partially hydrolized. Acidic rash stops, but still foul smelling farts/stool. I then put together he has silent reflux bc he is continuing to gag & swallow with nothing actually coming out & bring this to his drs attention to which she agrees, then we are given meds and switched to Similac Alimentum, and quit pumping bc he wouldn't latch and I couldn't set him down long enough to actually pump.

This is when things take a turn for the worst. He seemed better for a few days, although I noticed his stool was very glossy & almost looked like diarrhea but I wasn't sure. About a week in his farts begin to have the same awful smell and his stool is steadily becoming more liquid and he is now crying in pain hours on end. Finally by week 3 this is obviously full blown diarrhea with mucus, and after every feed he is gagging, & choking but now he seems to be struggling to breathe after. Also developing a rash across his face and upper back. During this time I bring him to his pediatrician & they tell me it's likely a stomach bug that needs to pass while giving me no timeline when to return if it didn't subside. However I brought him in on day 7 of consistent diarrhea that was only getting worse, so I switched his pediatrician and while waiting I gave him similac alimentum rtf to see if there would be any improvement.

There was, but not much. The diarrhea stopped by the next diaper, but the rash wasn't letting up, along with the gasping and choking and he was also now actually spitting up after feeds and clearly having abdominal pain. So by the time we see the new pediatrician, they say they think he has a formula allergy. Not intolerance, a legitimate allergy. So she gave me two cans of PurAmino, the first day he was fussy but actually sleeping, by day two he was smiling and happy and rash began to clear. This past week has been the first time in 8 weeks he's slept an extended amount of time in his bassinet. However he is now passing hard pellets every other diaper, one diaper is mush then the next is hard. I'm so confused and she told me I could use the tip of a suppository to help him when it's hard, I live in a rural area and there are no pediatric suppositories, unless I use an adult one but she did not clarify and it's the weekend so I can't call to ask.

Well today is day 5, and it's been rough. He's been crying most of the day and I believe it might be due to constipation. His farts no longer smell, but he pooped twice this morning. First was soft, and the second one hard. Has anyone had experience with this? Does it stay hard or does it eventually even out? Now idk if I should've given similac alimentum rtf more time. His stool keeps switching back and forth and idk what to expect. His silent reflux is still present but seems to have calmed. I'm not sure if that's the formula or his meds since his dosage was upped. If there's any parents who have experienced anything similar please let me know!

Feeling frumpy

I'm 7 weeks postpartum, after having my second child. With my first I immediately "bounced back" two weeks after, but I feel significantly softer and more jiggly this time around. I never was a workout girly but I wanna try to get into it. Wanna lose 15/20lbs. Ladies have any advice? Also, should I expect loose skin or stretch marks to show up once I do lose the weight?

7 week old had diarrhea for a week now

My 7 week old son has had diarrhea for a week now. He's been to the pediatrician and they say viral and that it can last WEEKS. I'm uneasy with this because he seems to have no improvement whatsoever if anything seems more distressed.

He's on similac alimentum because he's seemed to have stomach issues since birth, suspected cmpa so he's been on alimentum for a month now. He had horrible stomach cramps with stool and farts that smelled strongly of sulpher. He's also been diagnosed with silent reflux GERD and is on famotidine, but he went from silent reflux to actively spitting up even if I feed him smaller amounts. He also has a rash all over. I'm concerned and feel like I'm not being taken seriously. He's also always acts like he can't catch his breath, and they say his lungs are clear but I suspect this is a throat issue.

Pediatrician listened to his stomach and said it sounds like pure chaos. I just don't know what to do anymore. I'm gonna attach photos if I can. but it fully saturates his diapers and almost every time he eats. They upped his dosage of famotidine, and he seemed more comfortable initially but by his night time dosage he was miserable again. If he's not asleep he's screaming. This is my second child, and I never dealt with anything even remotely similar with my first. I also went to bathe him tonight and I feel like he had a metallic scent, and his backside felt slick. Which makes me think there's microscopic drops of blood in his diarrhea. He has no fever, but he's been extra sleepy. I took him to the er when this first started a week ago, and they said it was probably the formula switch (which he'd been on 3 weeks already) but I'm strongly debating taking him back.

I switched his pediatrician, but they can't take him until after August 1st once the insurance kicks in for that provider and that's of course a weekend so I have to wait until August 3rd to even just SCHEDULE an appointment, and that's assuming they'll have an immediate opening available. Has anyone ever experienced this before? He's asleep on my lap, and I HEAR his stomach going nuts. He also feels clammy to me, but no fever so apparently no issue according to the pediatrician and they say he's not showing signs of dehydration.

Silent reflux advice? For a 1 month old.

My second baby, a boy was born 5 weeks ago. I'm also the mother of a 5 year old girl who drs and I suspect struggles with adhd, since he was born he's struggled and been unhappy. Even when he's held sometimes he's inconsolable, it leaves me barely any time to wash bottles let alone spend good quality time with my daughter. Who is extremely attached to me and needs attention too. He's been diagnosed with GERD silent reflux, he's on famotidine and we switched his formula a few days ago and the screaming has went down but he still wants to be held 24/7. Dr basically said if it doesn't work she doesn't know some babies just cry. I was pumping and giving him breastmilk too, because he wouldn't latch when he was first born. He swallowed fluid at delivery and I pushed him out quickly and so they said it would take a few days to clear because he's been miserable literally from birth, little did i know it was GERD. At this point I can't pump because all he does is scream and he won't consistently latch because he's always crunching his body up. I'm really disappointed because after my first I swore I'd breastfeed if I ever had another child, but I can't even eat toast without him screaming so forget pumping for 20 minutes plus caring for my older child. So had to reluctantly stop which also severely sucked because my milk came in SO good. any other parents deal with this? And how long does this last?
