Hello i have a question, can i get into this program or rad tech program as a highschooler going into univeristy? Im so confused beacuse most of the students are either pre med or mature, idk if a highschooler with strong grades has a chance to get into these programs.
Okay, this might be a weird question, but I've known a lot of Grade 12 students who are my friends (I'm going into Grade 11). When I ask them which university they're going to, many say they're planning to study Life Sciences or Health Sciences (other unis) at U of T or other highly prestigious universities. They also often mention that their parents, who work in business, have "connections."
I'm not really sure what they mean by that. Just because someone comes from a wealthy or well-connected family, does that actually help them get into university? Is nepotism really a significant factor in university admissions, or am I misunderstanding what they mean by "connections"?
I also think it isnt fair for a student to bust their azz off, docent have well connected parents to only get pushed aside by a student who has a more "connected family member (s) to that certain uni/program.
Hey all, Im going into gr 11 this year! I know its early to say this, but is there anything you wish you did differently as a gr 12 in gr 11. Im asking cause I think this is the biggest year for me, its either gonna go smooth or all the way downhill. Just some general tips or rule of thumb lol.
I'm thinking on starting pre studying (for functions esp/bio), also i think im genuinely fried for chemistry.

Might be a stupid question but why dosent valorant rotate old bundles like rgx or kuro. I think they would make a decent amount of money while letting people that missed it have a go at them .
Bro, I was going through my sister's old gr 11 biology and chemistry tests and worksheets from when she graduated, and I think I'm actually cooked for all the sciences. 😭 Biology especially looks so hard, and I haven't even looked through chemistry yet. Apparently the chemistry teachers at my school are either really tough or just not great at teaching. And she didnt take physcis and apparently thats the hardest.
Since I'm taking two math courses along with all three sciences (biology, chemistry, and physics), I'm feeling pretty discouraged. Instead of like the regular Grade 10 science course where you learn all three sciences together (which i think i am used to since gr 9-10), Doing each science as its own course will be hell, esp if i get them all together!! And what them all in the same sem, its acc over..
Looking through the work, it just seems really difficult. I don't even know how to pre-study for science. It's not like math, where everything is pretty standardized and you can easily find practice that's similar to what you'll learn in class. I got a 86 on my gr 10 sci course if that counts for anything.
Maybe I'll end up with a different teacher, and maybe the way it's taught will be different, but right now it just feels overwhelming.
Overall, im js scared lol.

Hey all im having some problems with my laptop (asus bios). Secure boot wont turn on. I tired turning it on, and resetting to factory keys. But reseting keys dont work and im getting and error invalid signature detected Check secure boot policy. The only way i can move on to winodws is by disabling it fully but i need seucre boot. It was working fine idk what happend.

So with todays shop, I got the phase guard and coped it. Honestly, shi slaps. I like the feel of it better that the coronamic so far.

So today I bought a afnan 9pm parfum for winners for my brothers as a gift. Me knowing nothing about parfums, went on to get him that one. However, my brother is a little picky (has autism) and said he wanted the *rebel 9pm or something. I searched it up and yep, they are both diffrent.
Im not sure if i can return it as i took off the plastic cover around it. Should i put the plastic cover back , its in shambles or just try my luck with putting the tags on the parfum itself. Its only been like 12 hours and it hasten been opened .
