Selecting a fishing kayak

Hey I absolutly love fishing and kayaking. its been years since I went and miss it a lot with family. Looking to get back into it and fish in Louisiana Lake Ponchatrain and surrounding bayous. Would love an actual boat, but car cant handle towing.

Should I bite the bullet just once and get a Hobie Mirage Outback with the pedal drive or does anyone else have other ideas? Looking to get a small trailer and make it pull the kayak also for convience for my Equinox. Ty again

Fishing spot still available

Does anyone know if the Lakeshore estates wall is still accesable for fishing even if not drivable? I remember going years ago but last time I tried they had it blocked off for cars atleast to traverse. I just remember the fishing was incredible back there in Eden Isles

SSDI fund different from SS

Basically curious if when the SS cut that everyone fears in 2032. Does that also affect SSDI people who aren't retired, but disabled from working. Is it 2 seperate funds or the same one that pays out too 2 different programs of SS that'll effect SS payments and SSDI payments

SSDI QUESTION ABOUT SS IN 2032

I know they keep talking about cuts to ss in 2032 unless something changes, but does this also include SSDI PAYMENTS for disabled adults with children or is this a seperate funded thing? Just trying to prepare or not be as nervous for the future

Azalea help

Hi i water My azalea bush about once every 2 to 3 days depending on how hot it is. It gets maybe 3 hours of sun and a good bit of indirect sun under my patio. Should I be worried about the little browning leaves even tho I keep getting new growth or is it something else?

Help with Sizing

Looking to buy a pair of prescription holbrooks that on the website are the 56 18 137. I tried a pair of holbrooks at academy to make sure I like the fit but the label for them was 57 18 137. Is this a huge size difference or are they both large in size? Just making sure I don't get an over sized prescription pair before buying

High arch shoe question

I used to deal with plantar fasciitis in both feet badly 3 years ago ans continue today to wear high arch insoles in my brooks ghost or work boots. Since it hasn't been bothering me for years and I find the insoles uncomfortable sometimes. Would it be bad to just wearing regular insoles with my high arches as long as I'm wearing good shoes like brooks ghost or asics? Was never told if I had to keep wearing certain insoles forever.

Chuck roll question

So my favorite cut of steak by far is the chuck eye steak. I'm aware that you could cut the whole roll into steaks, but after the chuck eye portion they will get tougher. Will marinating those portions of steak with decent fat inside lime, cilantro, and seasoning over night help a lot or not enough for the toughness? Be aware I actually love a good steak that isn't all soft and chew less lol

Keeping Medicaid and Just got on SSDI

So I just got approved for SSDI and my payments for myself will be $1,350 monthly and $675 for my child I have ($2,025 Total). Will I be able to keep medicaid and eventually get Medicare with my monthly payments being to high in Louisiana or will they disqualify me for my 150% payment total being to much? I think I will be fine either way because me and my partner aren't married and myself and my child would bump me to the next level of income and be considered a family size of 2. Any help is greatly appreciated at putting my mind at ease.

Looking to get a lund 1600 tiller soon and haul with my chevy equinox with 1500lb tow capacity

Does this seem like a good bare bone list and realistic weight to just get on the water and fish? Not going to be driving very fair to go fishing with where I live. Maybe 5 miles
