Making the Switch to CachyOS
I've decided to switch from Windows to CachyOS as my main OS (My laptop has Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU) . I'm a complete linux begginer, but I want to learn rather than just copy and paste commands . If I run into problems, I'll try to figure stuff out myself using Reddit threads/ Arch wiki
but even so -
What resources do you personally use when smthing breaks or you get stuck?
Any YT/doc/website you recommend?
I wanna switch to Mint from Windows. My only concern is NVIDIA GPU drivers
I heard Ubuntu-based distros are easy to setup nvidia drivers...my use case is really light, honestly that is why I'm switching to Linux if there is anyone who has used or currently using mint distro on a nvidia gpu laptop do let me know how your experience is with it
I wanna switch to linux
I have a Lenovo gaming laptop with Nvidia Gpu..I do play games but they aren't my concern
All I need is vs code, a terminal, git/GitHub, notion , browser and that's it..
I want to switch really bad but I'm kinda scared as this is the only laptop I have and it's notorious for motherboard issues
Could installing linux (mint distro) trigger some issues in my laptop? I don't want dual boot or vm I want to make it my main OS
And what are all the huss about nvidia drivers?
Re-reading OnePiece and It already made me cry twice
Nami & Chopper's backstory is really touching
Guidance needed

Help the newbie out
I’m pretty new to html & css. After finishing a tutorial, I jumped straight into a small project basically a wiki for a game I love I managed to complete the homepage, but my CSS file turned into a mess. I ended up asking AI to help me organize it, and it suggested a structure similar to what Mdn recommends.
What I’m curious about is how experienced developers write CSS so they don’t have to reorganize everything later?
Also, is it fine to use ChatGpt as a helper for CSS? I don’t mean outsourcing the whole stylesheet (“here’s my HTML, give me CSS”), but more like:
- when I forget syntax
- when I’m not sure how to achieve a certain effect
- or when I want to try out design suggestions like colors.

Frontend-Focused Student: C++ or JavaScript for DSA?
I've recently started learning Web Development, and I'm currently in my 2nd year of B.Tech. I also need to start DSA because it's one of the major subjects this year.
The thing is, I have to learn JavaScript for Web Dev anyway, and my goal is to become a Full-Stack Developer. I already have a project idea that I eventually want to build.
So instead of learning DSA in C++, would it make sense to focus on JavaScript and do DSA in JavaScript as well? Since JavaScript will be part of my entire Web Dev journey, it feels like everything would align better with my goals.
Would I be missing out on anything important by choosing JavaScript for DSA over C++? Especially from the perspective of placements, interviews, and college coursework.
Should I Learn DSA in JavaScript Since I'm Focusing on Web Development?

Why people can't clear M2 back?

There are 4 questions worth 7 marks in the exam from the last 2 units..and just to be safe I can study one more till odd semester of 2nd year..
This is what I've been thinking but then..how do so many carry it for multiple sem?
This image is from the internet, I have this condition..like u can see in the image..the lateral incisor sits behind the lower canine teeth in my case.
Because of this my jaw has shifted to the right side..my chin doesn't align with my adams apple..when I take un mirrored photos my face looks shifted to right even tho m keeping it straight
Can this be fixed by braces only? By bringing my lateral incisor forward..
tight on budget , I js want a keyboard which would cover less size on my desk and last long
work use is js typing , coding mainly..I don't play fps games
this one caught my attention cz it has arrow keys despite being small in size
jobassist was basically a tryout for me, and the revelation was not even about the end result.
the thing is, I never noticed how much time I wasted performing the same routine actions like sending applications, adjusting my resume, transferring information from one place to another.
sure, the application can have its flaws, but somehow it made me realize the inefficiency of the entire process.
instead of asking whether the app works or not, I started considering how much time I used to waste.
has anybody else come across this thought while using such an application?
