We're building a manga production tool and need two working creators to work together with us on improving it.

Artist: Draws manga, comics, or webtoon pages regularly. Any tool, any level.

Writer: Writes comic scripts, storyboards, or ネーム. No drawing needed.

What it involves:

- Page/scene produced in our tool at your own pace

- Simple time log as you go

- Ongoing communication with our team throughout the 2 weeks

- 60-min debrief at the end: what worked, what didn't, what's missing.

You keep full rights to everything you make. Fully remote.

Bonus for the selected artist: You'll get the opportunity to have your work published on a Japanese manga publishing platform. Your older work qualifies: You just need at least one completed chapter.

Hi, we're a small team of developers and manga lovers. We're building a platform for manga creation and would love a professional artist to work on it and help us identify bugs and missing features. It’s a platform to support artists in their manga creation journey, from scratch to producing publication-ready art. From storyboarding to drawing, editing, and polishing.

Scope: To create a page with multiple panels or a couple of pages with a single panel as needed by the story. Using as many tools as needed available in the editor and noting the issues faced using those tools, and also if some are missing.

Expected deliverable: The tool is for artists, so just go wild. I leave it to your creativity. As long as I get your insights, the present issues, and feedback, I’d be content. I'd expect non-disclosure for the time being. Also, if you want to create stories effectively, we offer storyboarding; if not, we can provide you with stories.

Compensation: $35 for 1 Page (Negotiable)
