Okay so this is for 3rd generation dodge chargers, I'm looking to do a staggered look with tires on the skinnier side (not fat drag tires haha) to give it that classic aggressive muscle car stance, so trying to see examples of what tire sizes look like on these cars, thanks for any help folks! Hey folks, my life has been falling apart these last few months with all kinds of things just getting worse and worse, and my piece of crap shitbox of a car i just cant keep sustaining it anymore, and just today someone broke into it and shattered my driver door window, and this car has no AC and its in the 90s here, im really just so tired and i cant afford to fix it on top of everything else i need to fix on it, i would honestly greatly appreciate if anyone could help or share this to places were i might be able to get help for either to fix my window or as a pipe dream maybe enough for a down payment on a better car that isnt literally completely falling apart and barely running, i cant lose a car or else ill lose my job and if i lose my job i certainly cant fix my car to get another job and id be completely screwed, i hate asking for help or charity but im honestly on my last ropes with life right now and could use literally anything, i can't even set aside savings because i make so little i end up negative in overdraft every paycheck, i just need some help from anyone who can please and thank you. Im sorry if this post doesnt make sense or if i rambled on for too long im just so down and out of it from today.

I’m trying to decide between a newer Subaru WRX (around 2019–2021) and a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X (2008–2015). Both are coming out to roughly the same total price in my area if I finance the rest.
I’ve got a $10,000 down payment being offered by my grandma, which is huge for me, but she’s extremely frugal and strongly prefers I get a cheap beater instead of anything performance-oriented. That said, this is my one chance to get into either of these cars.
Important context:
Both options would be completely stock and kept stock
Clean titles, good maintenance history only
Intended as a daily driver (not a build or project car)
I’m in the Pacific Northwest (rain/snow, so AWD matters)
I do want to do basic maintenance myself, but nothing crazy
Reliability + long-term ownership cost matters a lot
My questions:
Between a stock Evo X and a newer WRX, which is the smarter financial/reliability choice for daily use?
Which one tends to be cheaper to maintain over time if both are stock?
Is the Evo’s age a bigger issue than the WRX’s drivetrain/engine reputation?
Realistically, is one of these a “bad idea” as a daily in 2026?
Also—separate question: Any advice on how to convince a very frugal older family member that either of these is a reasonable purchase vs just getting a $2k beater? She’s only helping if she feels it’s “responsible,” so I’m trying to approach it carefully.
Not trying to race or modify anything—just want the better long-term daily.

Hey everyone, short time lurker first time poster lmao. Anyways, my fiancé's 2005 toyota sienna has been having some issues and i think its the torque converter or transmission possibly (engine definitely needs lots of tlc tho😅)

We'll start with the symptoms: if you like floor it to get on the freeway (shouldn't even have to floor it thats another concern for later) it revs really high like past 4.5k rpm before shifting and it shifts kinda hard and then revs high again before the next shift but not past 4.5k rpm after the first near redline freeway merge, after that when not actively accelerating it drives and shifts just fine at freeway and city speeds, BUT sometimes at like a yellow turn arrow at an intersection, if theres a clearing and i go to take the turn left itll start to go at first and then like half way through the intersection mid turn it feels like the throttle is doing nothing i could literally be pushing the pedal all the way down, rpms wont change and itll be going like 5 miles an hour until suddenly the rpms jump high and it lurches the car forward and then starts driving fine again.
Me and my fiancé cant afford another car let alone a newer sienna (4 kids) to replace our 05 and im worried this one is gonna die on us soon, theres also a code for clogged catalytic converter but im gonna handle that in a few days myself hopefully. Any help greatly appreciated and if clarification is needed i will gladly answer questions as best as i can!

Hey everyone, made as close to my dream car as i could in this game haha (i actually want all the design of this one on a 1973 charger instead of a 1969 but no one likes that generation so it's not in any games haha) anyways its named Marceline, got a viper v10 swap with twin turbo and max upgrades, white wall tires and lifted drift suspension and some other stuff (still working out transmission gearing tbh, cant find a good sweet spot of nice and drifty and actually controllable in a race lol)

They are all around level 55-65 in game, just put them at 100 to predict final stats roughly lol. i know its not the most balanced at all haha, literally straight up STAB move glass cannon in the most literal sense🤣 zero status moves and high attack and special attack stats and high speed stats all around (obviously atk and spc atk boosted on the respective pokemon its needed on) just like 9 year old me would be proud of! 😅

It has a 4.7 stroker built by idk who, roughly 250-280 whp and about 415-430 foot pounds torque
It is a fleet/police package (mild tune, different shift points, no Governor/limiter)
5 inch lift on 33r17 wheels
Ford 8.8 rear axle swap with 4.88 gears (going to 35 inch tires soon)
Cat delete with banks monster exhaust
All around just my favorite vehicle ever, even if the AC had to be taken out due to the clutch seizing amd catching the compressor on fire hahaha
Looking to build a specific team style and thinking about using a hisuian samurott since its water/dark and a bit of a tank lol, i got a legit shiny Blastoise id consider trading for it (especially if its a shiny samurott!) open to offers, prefer a lower level and would prefer a legit one from sw/sh but sometimes it cant be helped
