I know I'm anxious and paranoid when it comes to the care of my ebike, so please forgive me. I just got a new Ebike, had to sell my last one cause I was moving states and couldn't fly with it. Recently got a new one, it's a Jasion branded YR20. It seems to be a pretty powerful bike, and it's weight capacity is stated to be 330 pounds. Today I went to go pick up my fiance from her job over by the beach in the town im in, and there's a pretty steep bridge going over the ocean. Together we are about 340 pounds, plus like maybe 8 pounds of stuff we were both carrying, just an estimate. After I picked her up I went over the bridge with her on it. Couldn't actually pedal the pedal assist cause my partner is very tall and when I pedaled I would bump my legs against hers, so I went throttle only on PAS 3. It went up just fine honestly just slower than it would have without me obviously, but my question is, if I did this a lot would that significantly degrade the health of my motor and battery?
Also it seemed to have cut off at one point like the bike just turned off, but this was before the hill/bridge. Wondering if I've already caused some damage by doing this.
I'm pretty sure I'm overthinking this, but I would like to hear your guys' input.
Thanks in advance!
Sorry for being such a dork about it lol
I don't need one right now, just got the bike today, but I always like to know where to get replacement parts for when I need them. Can't seem to find the replacement battery anywhere. It's a 48v 20ah battery with 21750 lithium cells. Just want to make sure it fits.
Can't wait to see what I'm in for.
