Another day of thinking about how small a chapter is. I'm painting my company as Guardians of the Phalanx (7th company) and I'm just wondering how are a 100 marines supposed to defend an almost planetsize ship. :D

It's not really a big deal, as you can just headcanon your way out of it. Supposedly there are quite a lot of imperial guardsmen on there aswell. But still.

Cmon GW, why dont you go and up the Chapter size to atleast 10,000 marines, so each company has a 1000? That would make it slightly more believable...

Or is there new lore on the Phalanx? Is it filled with other IF successor chapters aswell?
