What do we think of my stats? I was dedicated to find a good client, the current hire I have is a long term contract for more than $2000 a month. The other two interviews one told me he will reach out for other jobs cuz he liked my experience and the other is in process of selecting and had asked for some proof

I built Algierex, a free app that makes the Algiers Stock Exchange readable (web + iOS, in Arabic, French and English)

Salam 👋

Following la Bourse d'Alger (SGBV) is painfully hard. Prices, dividends and official notices live in scattered PDFs and press releases, and there is nothing modern to make sense of it. So I built the tool I wished existed.

What it does:

• Live prices and full history for every listed security (equities, bonds, treasury/OAT notes) plus the DZAIRINDEX.

• Portfolio tracking and a watchlist.

• Official news from COSOB, SGBV and the issuers themselves, translated into Arabic, French and English.

• A dividend and IPO calendar (handy this year with the tech listings like AYRADE and CREX that IPOed last month, and more to follow).

• Bonus tools: DZD FX with official vs parallel rates, and a fitted treasury yield curve.

• Fully in Arabic, French and English, with dark mode, on both web and iPhone.

How I built it:

• Web: Next.js on Vercel.

• Backend: Convex.

• iOS: native SwiftUI, shipped to the App Store.

The year flairs (1CP → 5th Year, Alumni, Prof) can't be self-assigned. They're verified so when someone with a 4th Year flair answers your question you know it's not a random person larping as a student.

Genuinely curious about Algerians' relationship with the Bourse d'Alger
