I'm 4B and I see so many crazy things on the internet that men do, so I'm wondering why more women aren't 4B, it seemed like the most natural progression considering everything. Any thoughts on this?

This is a good faith question not looking to be vilified.

Edit: okay so thanks for the responses. I see the common theme in the comments is because you like men too much to do that. Perfectly understandable as per the post insights most of you are from the United States, maybe things are different and safer over there and the rate of femicide, pedophilia, rape and sex based violence in general isn't high? Where I'm from people who have had the opportunity to access a bit of education and are feminists don't really like men? Will sent this to my class group and see their thoughts as well.

I'm so tired of this fuckn country. All the telcos are terrible and Sam George is there with his big buttocks spending taxpayers money and doing absolutely nothing what a loser he is treating Ghanaians like how he has been treating his constituents for years now and they keep voting for him.

I need someone to explain this to me because it's making me feel insane. I keep seeing posts in these subs where women say they only date masculine women because they want someone strong and reliable, someone to protect them, provide for them, and lead them. And I genuinely cannot understand this need.

There's nothing wrong with dating masculine women. You can find muscles attractive, or their energy, or whatever feature does it for you. That's not what I'm talking about. What I don't get is this need and desire to be protected and provided for and led, as if that's only something a woman with masculine traits (or a man) can give you.

This sounds high key like internalized misogyny to me. I am a woman, as womanly as they come, and I know because I have lived it, women are strong and dominant, and even in our submission we intend to lead. We are natural leaders and providers and protectors of women and children and the vulnerable. This idea that "man" is supreme and all powerful, and that anything close to "man" is what makes someone strong or reliable, is rooted in self loathing, not preference.

I regret coming out of my bubble honestly. Seeing that people don't hold women or womanhood in high regard, even in our own community, where the female is somehow never supreme, has been... interesting?

Someone explain this to me because I don't get it.

This whole thing has been so funny to me. I'm young and have been learning more about feminism, 4b and female empowerment so i decided to join some feminist subs for the first time this week.

An issue about the misogyny of those whom shall not be named apparently came up irl and I saw how many who were allies or neutral turned hostile and decided to post about that. Guess what? silenced.

I made a second post asking what feminism means to the mods and why creating discourse about an issue which involves blatant misogyny is an issue. Guess what? Banned.

I went to the sub rules and the commentary posted by the mods and I had to show it to my girlfriend because i couldn't believe my eyes.

I cannot believe this. Is feminism now synonymous with anti-woman ?

Feminism, the very thing which has encouraged women to break the culture of silence and to resist oppressive rule is now being gatekept 🫩

They are gatekeeping feminism now and any attempt to speak up about it is rooted in the patriarchy apparently?

I saw a video where a lady was giving a cost breakdown of a male friends call to the bar and it cost 200,000 cedis. Someone in the comments said "200,000 just to earn 4k afterwards is not a good investment" and the lady was like " what makes you think we earn 4K"

My issue here is that if the person spent 200k on their graduation who cares it's nobody's business. But why are you lying about the reality of the salaries a lot of baby lawyers earn, if you don't create awareness about the wage gap between seasoned lawyers and the younger lawyers how will things change.

Honestly I've thought about it a lot and most lawyers hide and lie about their salaries and I just can't think far, you are holding yourself and others back because if you will be honest with yourself most of you don't earn what you deserve. The wage is not equivalent to the workload. So why can't you be honest so that necessary discourse about the issue is created and a way can be paved for your earnings to increase.

26F I don't know if this is the appropriate sub for this but I'm wondering if I'm a lesbian I come from a homophobic country, people can't even suspect that you are gay here heterosexuality is the default.

So my first experiences were with women however as I grew up I had a few relationships with men cus you know... even if I liked a woman I'd be scared to do anything about it. But when I think about it I did like them but not as much as I like women I feel like I liked them because I was lonely. Never liked sex with men I barely even came however sex with women is so exhilarating. I also don't really get attracted to male celebrities but I can look at female celebrities a thousand times without getting tired.

I came upon a bisexual subreddit and I was so appalled by what's often referred to as a bi cycle as I've never felt the need to leave my female partner for a man.

As I reflect on it I can't imagine being a man's wife but I'd definitely be a woman's wife. I also don't like men that much I get irritated when they text or like me these past few years. But I don't know if I'm a misandrist or if I'm just gay. Has anyone had a similar experience? How do i definitely know.

Can you please tell me if anyone has reported their landlord for any issue how was your experience.

As the title says I'm wondering how those who have small businesses and are self employed, doing gigs and what not, what do you do and is it profitable, do you miss or wish you were in corporate?
