Shops for workwear

Hi guys! Moving to London soon for my first grad job next month and I'm travelling in from abroad quite light, so wanted to know what shops are good and affordable to buy some formal office fits.

For context, I'm going to be in legal at a mid-size firm. I'm also looking for reassurance that I don't have to wear anything too fancy, heels, etc. Capsule work wardrobe recommendations also welcome as guidance for what I can buy.

Tysm in advance ladies!

Two rounds of interview to be told "due to some organisational changes and business needs..."

So, long story short, I applied to an entry-level position at a legal firm. I made it past two rounds of interviews with four partners total, and was told by HR the following week that the hiring manager wanted to speak to me personally regarding a "slight change in the direction of the position" and mentioned glowing feedback about my interview performance. I'm thinking, great! But let's see what this change is about.

Get a call from the hiring manager, who tells me that the firm has decided not to recruit anyone for this position any longer due to organisational changes and some business needs making it impossible to fill this vacancy at this time. However, due to positive feedback, they still want me to give me another shot at a similar position, which involves work on a specific case coming to a critical juncture and they need more hands on this project. Key to note, it's based in a different city about 4 hours away, it would be a lot of work because the team is smaller, and the kicker, I would have to go through a final third interview to assess my suitability for this role.

I was gobsmacked to be honest because what type of company puts you through two rounds for an entry-level position only to discuss amongst themselves that it doesn't make good business sense to do so anymore? And it doesn't even seem they recruited internally because there's not a much lower rung of candidates they can recruit from for this position. So now I have to do another interview because beggars can't be choosers, I'm an unemployed graduate and basically taking the scraps that I can get.

And they say young people don't want to work and have unrealistic career expectations 🤣🤣🤣.

'Other woman' weirdgirllit recs?

I'm looking for some recs that centre around being the 'other woman', or not necessarily centre but the MC is one. By extension, any messy situationships are welcome. Trying to structure a comparative project for uni around this theme or what would make an FMC 'unlikeable'. Thx in advance chat!!

UPDATE: thank you all so much for the recs!! keep them coming

What aesthetic/illustration style is this?

Some of them are nightclub promotion posters, others CD cover art... it's giving, what MyScene (if you know, you know) told me what adulthood in the city would look like.

Hello! Could someone kindly translate this video interview of Colde for me? I've loved Offonoff since I was a teenager but I can't understand what he is saying here. Thank you!!

Anyone heard back from them yet? The vacancy said interviews would take place on 17th/18th May, and having not heard anything back, I emailed a week prior to ask for an update. They said they'd received an overwhelming amount of applications and would circle back. Wondering whether atp they've already invited people for an interview?
