Sick to stomach mostly recovered but something weird is still happening

Okay I still have diarrhea but not vomiting anymore. The diarrhea honestly isn't unusual(I'm normally having diarrhea or constipated constantly) but my appetite still fricken sucks, expecially with meat. I'm not a big meat eater normally but I'm not normally physically feeling ill while trying to eat the very few meals I include with it. The taste of meat immediately makes me feel sick no matter what when it's never done that before. (Normally only eat meat once a day only because I hate cooking it) Do I need to go back to the doctor? I'm struggling to eat and people around me keep asking why I'm skipping meals or only eating certain things in small amoints. Literally tried to eat my favorite food and I felt like vomiting.

I had another sick episode 2 weeks ago but that one went away in 24 hours. This one took 3 days(started Sunday night) for me to stop vomiting but I'm still unable to eat Normally and things are tasting weird. I can cook myself vegetarian dishes but still if I eat more than a few bites at a time I feel sick. Meat is just worse.

I'm 21 diagnosed issues are PCOS and several mental health things including Autism and Anxiety. My doctor offered last time I was there to test for flu and covid but said she doubted I had either and there was nothing she could do. I declined the tests because I had no fever(little elevated but not fever) and I don't think covid would make me throw up. Not on any medicines rn I gotta go back for a weird kind of checkup to get my prescriptions adjusted.(can't remember what she called it)

(Promise I'm not vegan I just do not know what's wrong with me.) Sorry if this is stupid. I've been struggling to eat since Sunday.

Stupidly placed the order on the wrong app so it won't be here for a couple more days can I give either of these to a 6 month old kitten for 2 days?

Long story short sick brain wrong delivery app last night(been sick since Monday and honestly getting worse). One is adult food but actually safe to use in this house(no chicken). The other says it's all life stages but has a HUGE risk of making my other animal sick. The other cats have canned food just I don't think I can give my adults cats instinct limited ingredient to him and I don't have enough of the baby babies food on me to give to him. (She has to have specific food or else she doesn't know how to eat) or should I just check all the cans at Walmart and see if ANY kitten cans have no chicken? I didn't realize he was out of no chicken cans and I got rid of the cans with chicken. I'm so fricken stupid.

Got told to get a Samsung S series but I have a budget

I was comparing the tablet I was originally looking at vs what I was showed to get and I just seriously don't know specs but the onn seems better to me? I'm only needing to run 3 apps on it. I make videos and draw ALOT so the more space the better but I have a $200 dollar limit rn. The Samsung comes with a stylus the onn I can buy one for and still be in budget. Which one of these do y'all think is better.

(One game, one drawing app, one video app is all I'm putting on it)

Does anyone use this and know if it's firm or soft? Too firm and it will cause sharp pain and joint issues again

Sorry literally never bought a mattress before(just been given old ones by family members in the past) I'm fully moving into my tiny home soon and just need a Mattress big enough for me and my pup and cat(hence looking at a twin I'm smaller than average so a full feels too big and queens are huge). Too firm of a mattress and I will LITERALLY be hurting. I have something going on with my hip but my doctor can't figure it out and thinks it's either a pinched nerve or it somehow is actually dislocating itself. Soft mattresses don't cause it as often but too hard of a surface and it will. I was trying to use a air Mattress but kinda not working with the cat. Furniture blanket protected the cheap one I had until I had to wash it and he accidentally popped it(he still looks guilty and sad he liked that thing). I can technically just buy a new air Mattress since it was cheap and soft without causing pain but still probably need to actually get one and quit delaying.

Edit: if y'all need to know sleep positions I'm either stomach or side. Back immediately hurts no matter the surface so I don't sleep on my back.

Okay if I use beef liver treats for training do I have to remove the liver from the food?

Having to use either single ingredient or limited ingredient treats and beef liver treats are highly recommended to avoid my pup having a reaction(apparently single ingredient treats have a much lower cross contamination rate). But I'm switching to raw soon(literally picking up the last ingredient in a week) and kinda nervous about overdoing liver if I use the treats for training. Beef heart and liver were recommended I know heart is EXTREMELY calorie dense so I think that math is harder.

I'd make my own but don't own a dehydrator or freeze drier.

Can we ask about treats here?

If we can do y'all know any single ingredient or limited ingredient treats that Don't contain chicken that are decent? I'm out and need to buy some off chewy for training. I can't get treats from my normal place except for once a month. (He doesn't like the kibble enough for prolonged training and I think what I'm teaching will take awhile Don't need training advice just the treats) he's allergic to chicken and I was told single ingredient or limited ingredient would be the best bet until I can get treats from the place I normally do.(the lady has one treat sale a month and if she sees me order she'll make sure there's no cross contaminating.)

Have to teach the leave it command to a stubborn teenage ACD mix so gotta have something.

I figured out two of the cats but not the baby. Does anyone know any chicken free pates for kittens besides weruva?

Weruva only has one kitten can and nothing else has really come up of anything decent. Chicken free is not for Artemis' health herself but because feeding the cats chicken is making my other animal sick. (He's allergic and even the SMALLEST amount can hurt him) I didn't even know their foods contained chicken so I was pulling at straws for awhile and wasted a bunch of money tossing treats and things I was giving the dog thinking they were cross contaminated when it was infact the cats spreading chicken thru the waterbowls.

She has to have SPECIFICALLY pate. She can't eat other textures still even tho I keep trying.

Since I now have access to everything I have two questions

What is the proper ratio for a 10 month old pup? I'm seeing like 4 different numbers. He's gonna be 25lbs max. I cannot find the correct amount.

Also is BARF or PREY better? Barf seems harder. I've been giving him some raw meat as toppers to prepare his stomach for this but he seems to digest it better than the kibble anyway...

Okay wtf is USDA won't let us sell it supposed to mean?

Every butcher and farm and farmers market I call says the same exact thing and acts like it's illegal as hell for me to get beef kidney! A nutritionist from a raw petfood company even tried helping me and we both came up with dead ends(lady didn't try to sell me anything she was literally helping me get ahold of farms and stuff). Even the little Asian market isn't allowed to sell it!

Secreting organs are NOT illegal to sell. I'm missing ONE ingredient because of some stupid law they are quoting that at least for me looking it up doesn't even exist! Does anyone know what they are referring to!? They don't give me any other info besides saying they legally can't sell it because of the USDA preventing the sell of it. I hate Arkansas.

This cat trusts me TOO much

Is there a possible way to teach a cat to not just... Stay put if my hands jerk and an object gets thrown? (No I'm not throwing it at the cat on purpose) This is twice my hand has I guess spasmed is the right word and my cat Bandit literally nearly got hit twice because he just stood there. I launched myself and grabbed the items both times but he's too trusting 😭.

This is a legit question because idk if he realizes he could get hurt or if he just really trusts me that much.

I haven't done the hand jerk thing in months I normally only jerk when my anxiety is up and Bandit has been glued to me basically for days now. I'm scared I'll hit him on accident. I'm going to ask if they can increase my anxiety meds but in the meantime will he ever get that he's in danger!? (The objects that normally jerk out of my hands are small a fork is the heaviest thing I've ever lost my grip on. I think I grip heavy objects differently and it prevents them from doing it) I'm going to get gloves because normally those help for some odd reason but I can't tell if he just really trusts me or if he's not the brightest.

(I promise this is NOT a brag I just got thru crying because I almost hit him with a cup and he PURRED at me and jumped on my shoulder in "Pikachu mode")

Sorry for the odd question what can I add to food to keep a pup from losing too much weight?

I give up on the other dog subs. Even the one that's SPECIFICALLY for my pups breed that normally doesn't do this crap I'm getting WSAVA shoved in my face. WHY DON'T PEOPLE UNDERSTAND HE CAN'T HAVE ANY OF THEIR STUFF?! And the fact they demand I prove he has a chicken allergy AND a grain issue and I have to constantly justify myself is stupid.

This doesn't have to be balanced what is the best thing to add to keep a pups weight up? His weight is decreasing and increasing like last time he had a growth spurt. It keeps going down too much so I called the company and they told me not to increase it too much for his size because of the probiotics in it could possibly cause digestive upset if I add too much at once because he's small and young. I looked it up and apparently it is true too many probiotics can cause it. I gotta use ANYTHING else but the food to add some extra calories over what he normally needs. (Was asking for cans but the "oh just use **insert can full of chicken and/or rice** from WSAVA list he's not ACTUALLY allergic to chicken " is too much now) he eats some raw as toppers already while I wait for hunting season so I can make his food. I think I need fat to keep weight up? Is that right?

Sorry just really mad about getting WSAVA shoved in my face EVERYWHERE but here. I even specifically say I don't wanna hear it but the jerks still come. Any suggestions?

Trying to eliminate chicken from the house due to cross contamination issues.

I was using chewy which when I clicked on chicken free didn't have weruva variety packs listed(I know there's an entire pack but I can't find it again. Applaws I've heard good things about but it's SEVERELY low calorie and my big boy just won't eat that much no matter what it is. (That's also the smallest ingredient lists I've ever seen) he has to have multiple options tho so it's kinda making an issue. Nulo was recommended for my middle child and him to share(best guess 5 months to 6 months old) by the chewy vet chat. Weruva is for the baby baby.

Need to eliminate chicken from the ENTIRE household

I kept trying to figure out how my pup randomly kept having reactions and getting sick(if it was every feeding I'd point to the food bag being cross contaminated but it wasn't and I'm still on the same bag) I finally figured out it happens EVERYTIME I give my cats certain cans. My big boy doesn't like chicken flavored food anyway so I thought it should be safe but I looked at the cans and realized way down the list they all had poultry meal/by product or chicken. I obviously don't feed him cat food so I kept trying to figure out what was happening. I clean and refill the water bowls every morning. I'm 90% sure it's the water bowls since they all share. I have 2 kittens(one has to have pate) and a 5 year old male. I need kitten food and SEVERAL adult food ideas that are chicken free. Plz help? (Chicken is a confirmed allergy for the dog. I had had cleaning protocols and everything for it but me nor the vet it seems thought about the waterbowls being a cross contamination issue)

How do they look? (And how can I make it easier to tell who is the “villain”.) plz rate and crit

Clarifying: Black eyes don’t mean villains it shows Corruption blood which is basically a blood parasite. Sometimes it’s passed on, sometimes not. It has very few NEGATIVE side effects besides increased anger. But it boosts abilities and prevents death from most circumstances because it prevents red blood cells and white blood cells from being lost.

Frost(left) Villain by definition only (not very active) Power is Black ice(corrupted version of Ice Spikes +50% damage)

Kai(Right) Vigilante in training (stealth active only, not combat) Power is Chaotic Ice(“deformed” version of Ice Spikes -50% damage + 80% speed)
If y’all want the info on that let me know I don’t wanna bore ya

I put the question in the picture. Had to take in my nephews 3 year old rat terrier since he abandoned it and he apparently only eats beef and chicken. Mine can't have chicken so gonna have to basically quarantine both dogs away from each other while feeding but i think I can make it work. I tried giving him fish. He spat it out. He won't eat it or fish oil but he needs SOMETHING for his fur due to a flea infestation making him lose hair so ima figure that out while i treat him.

10lb dog is currently on kibbles and bits mini bites and i want him OFF (for alot of reasons)

The new pup is gonna be closely related to my current pup. My pup came with allergies and issues that apparently could be genetic but we are 70% sure it came from his father since none of his siblings who have a different father have the issues but there's no way to be 100% sure. I asked the vet and he said to avoid the allergies my current pup has for the new pup until it's past 4 months. Apparently the vomiting and stuff it causes if it gets too bad over a weekend could end badly before 4 months. He recommended Natural balance grain free duck and potato for the pup but i already have one pup on a DCM risk food. I'm about to put my current pup on honest kitchen with raw meat would that be a bad idea to put the new pup on as well?

I have to avoid grains and chicken so it's either grain free dog food or making my own. The vet will be fine with whatever i do as long as I don't make the pup sick. He's worried if they do have the same issues that it could cause the pup to have to be hospitalized or something if it gets too bad while it's little. My current pup almost did because the first vet was ignoring my concerns because i was feeding hills when his issues happened. New vet fixed it.

Before anyone asks why I'm getting the pup if it may have issues no matter what the pup exists they bred the dogs for temperament and to replace some herders they were retiring. They had a couple extra and it was offered to me because they like how good i am with animals. I'm not paying anything for it and it'll be dewormed and shots given before i get it.

I'm trying to find a meat grinder for both my adult cat and if i switch the kitten to raw as well later on(she's currently on fancy feast kitten due to struggling to eat other foods. She's little)

It'll be a temporary thing no matter what but will it work at for abit? Or if it sucks can you recommend an affordable one. I'd prefer a manual incase anything happens like power going off or anything but if an electric is necessary i can use it.

u/Illumeis_is_done — 22 days ago

I can technically afford another. I was told by the person who gave me my first that there are more puppies a relative of hers owns. They are 50% blue heeler mixes just like my current pup. I have a few months to decide. I won't be charged anything for getting the pup and they'll come with their first worming but I'm having issues debating. My current is 10 months old

Pros:

• I can technically afford another one easily as long as it doesn't come with as many issues as the first. It should be highly unlikely.

• I have supplies mine has barely touched(i kept trying to get him into toys and failed)

• it would give my pup something with his energy level to play with and interact with

• small baby but maybe not as small as my first?

Cons:

• My first one came with allergies and gut issues would the new one come with the same ones since they are related but not brothers?

• Two velociraptors vs One

• SMALL baby(might not see it sometimes at first while doing things with my tunnel vision, my current one learned to alert me to his presence when he goes behind me unexpectedly but idk how fast it would pick that up)

I keep thinking about just adopting an adult dog but last time i brought an adult dog into my house i adopted as a stray off the streets it didn't end well. I could try from the shelter this time tho instead. I don't really care on breed at all except for not wanting a toy breed or a wire haired

I'm switching a cat to partial raw(don't worry I'm using a completer) i was gonna do full but I'd rather have partial so incase anyone else is watching him for me they won't be grossed out feeding him raw food.

He gets bored of cat food easily tho so i clearly still need a rotation. (Very oddly he won't eat chicken CATFOOD but doesn't mind raw chicken, don't know what's up with that) What are some good ideas? He stopped eating fancy feast recently as well as friskies(friskies was the fastest he ever dropped a food and I ended up giving it to my sister and giving him instinct instead). He's slowed down on instinct enough i gotta take it out of rotation soon just not right at the moment. Having fish as an option makes sure he'll eat it longer and more of it.

Personal wants for him: pate + all life stages or adult (he's 5 years old)+ not over $4 a can individually (budget is good but if i have to buy individuals that would be alot)

His absolute needs: high calorie + no chicken + wet food

He's an 11lb cat (not fat just big)

Exit to clarify: High calorie and listing those two is because OTHER PEOPLE gave him the food when he did his normal protest to switch food it takes alot of those to equal the amount he needs and he struggles with eating that large of an amount hence needing high calorie
