Epstein content creators: for the love of god please just share the information without all the selfie video theatrics

I keep seeing so many great Epstein videos ruined by the content creator making the video as much about themselves as they are about the Epstein content they are reporting.

Getting real support and attention on this issue isn't going to happen if the reporting mouthpiece is a random 20-something in casual clothes filming a selfie video, overlaying their own music, and adding animation effects, in-between screenshots of actual evidence and proof.

Just show the files and let them do the talking. You being on screen is not adding value, nor is it instilling confidence in the viewer. It deepens the belief that this is a fringe issue held only by chronically online conspiracy theorists.

People with OK income and little savings, where/how did you buy a home in Portland?

I'm getting to an age where I'd like to settle down into a more permanent abode and I'm just curious what everyone else's experience has been trying to make that happen here in Portland, particularly for those in the lower income brackets.

EDIT: I'm just looking for some success stories of folks who have bought homes in Portland with relatively lower financial means than the average Portlander. That's all.

I am not looking for pessimism or financial advice. I'm well aware of the realities of buying a home in Portland. I don't care that you think it's not possible or requires generational wealth or I'll need to move to a bad neighborhood. I'm just looking for stories from folks who have done it. Not negative sentiment from those who haven't.

Why does my cat almost always sleep with his stomach to the wall?

He's a 8 month tuxedo who sleeps almost exclusively in the hallway, sideways, with his stomach to the wall.

Not concerned, just curious

In no particular order, these are the characters I enjoy talking to the most in the Bazaar.

Nice voices, great voice actors, funny dialogue

Has anyone gone to family therapy or counseling with their parents?

Been considering this as a way to repair and maybe get a third party to foster some empathy in them. Idk. Curious if anyone else has tried this and how it went.

What are you using Claude Design for?

I'm a product designer and it seems like this is exclusively tailored for UI designs and nothing else. Does it have any other use cases?

Is it just me or does the compounding nature of 9Kings gameplay mean multiplayer favors whoever high rolls earliest?

Trying to understand multiplayer strats a bit more. Some games if I get a good start, I have no trouble making top 4. But other games it feels like someone gets an early high roll from rainbow cards or something else, they just go onto completely sweep.

Is multiplayer biased towards early high rolls? Is there any way to "come back" against players who high roll early?

Anybody else base their enjoyment of this show entirely on the attractiveness of the female actresses and their acting ability?

I'm sick of hearing about things like writing, plot, mystery, etc. I don't care about the monsters (unless they're women). I only care about whether or not the female actors have huge boobs or not.

I feel like this is something LOST nailed and seems to have been perhaps forgotten in FROM.

Rewatching S1 and I think Jim might be Tabitha's husband??

Ok so I think Jim is Tabitha’s husband, and the show has been hiding it in plain sight.

I know this sounds insane, but the more I rewatch, the more I’m convinced the show is quietly telling us that Jim is Tabitha’s husband.

Not just “part of the same group.” Not just “connected through the kids.” I mean literally her husband.

The biggest clue is how they argue. Jim and Tabitha don’t fight like strangers or even like random survival partners. They fight like two people who have had the same fight a thousand times before. There’s this baked-in exhaustion between them. Every disagreement already has history behind it. Jim doesn’t just worry about Tabitha; he worries in this very specific “I know exactly what you’re going to do and it drives me insane” way.

Then there’s the way Tabitha moves through danger and Jim reacts to it. She follows instinct, visions, symbols, weird subterranean nightmare logic. Jim tries to pull everything back to practical reality: plans, structures, radios, cause and effect. That dynamic feels way too intimate to be accidental. It’s not just “skeptic vs believer.” It’s the classic split of two people who love each other but process trauma completely differently.

The kids are another huge piece. Julie and Ethan orbit both of them like they’re part of the same broken household. Ethan especially seems to treat Tabitha as the emotional center and Jim as the guy who’s supposed to fix things, even when he clearly can’t. That is such a family-coded setup. The show keeps framing the four of them as a unit, but not a clean happy one — more like a family that was already cracked before the town got its claws into them.

And then there’s Thomas. Whatever happened there clearly ties Jim and Tabitha together on a level deeper than just “we both knew him.” Their grief has that awful, familiar quality of shared loss. The kind where two people are carrying the same tragedy but can’t comfort each other because they’re also reminders of the worst day of each other’s lives.

Also, Jim’s whole deal is suspiciously husband-coded. He’s constantly trying to “solve” the town through engineering-brain nonsense, while Tabitha is the one being pulled toward the mythic/spiritual layer of what’s happening. That contrast feels intentional. He’s the rational spouse who thinks if he can just build the right thing, send the right signal, make the right plan, he can keep the family intact. Meanwhile Tabitha is already halfway into the town’s deeper mystery.

Even their body language is weirdly domestic. They stand near each other like people who are used to sharing space. They interrupt each other like people who have no politeness buffer left. There’s a lack of formality there that the show doesn’t give Jim with anyone else. He can be combative with other characters, but with Tabitha it feels personal in a totally different way.

My read is that the town didn’t just trap random survivors. It trapped unfinished stories. And Jim and Tabitha feel like one of the most unfinished stories in the entire show: a broken marriage, unresolved grief, kids caught in the middle, and two people who maybe still love each other but have forgotten how to be on the same side.

So yeah, I'm calling it now:

Jim is Tabitha’s husband.

The show is making us focus on monsters, symbols, bottles, trees, and radio signals, but the real clue has been the emotional architecture all along. Jim and Tabitha are not just connected. They’re married, and whatever the town is doing to them, it started long before they arrived.

Theory: Angkhooey means Donna is the Man in Yellow

This is my head canon: when the children say "remember" they are trying to point out that Donna is actually a piece of shit and deserves to die. This of course, makes me sad, because I love Donna. Anybody else stressed about this theory?

What if there is no cycle or past lives and it's all just the place fucking with them?

Let's be real, a cycle ongoing since 15-whatever the fuck? The place just giving them delusions is more plausible.

If you had to pick just one, what's your favorite item?

For me, it's Dooley's Pylons.

Diamond-tier it's 4x Slow + 4x Haste, giving 8 total keyword triggers. When you enchant, it can go to 12 triggers.

It's an auto-pick for me, because when you can enchant it with Fiery, Toxic, or Icy, it opens up so many combo options (friends, drill, items from other heroes). And with fiber optics and other charge options available, there's plenty of ways to go infinite with it.

I love Pylons.

What keywords do you gravitate towards the most?

Across all characters, I tend to always go for builds involving Slow + Poison/Burn.

Idk, Weapons and Shielding I just don't find that interesting.

Heal and Regen I don't like because the games take too long lol.

Haste is a close second because items go brr but disrupting your opponent is more fun to me.

Freeze would be my top pick but it's rare to actually pull off.

Anybody else have their preferences?

Character names reveal clues hidden in plain sight

The writers cleverly have been hinting at what's going on all along, it's right there in the character names:

  • Boyd = Boy + d; the d stands for death (shooting his wife) and now it's only boys in his family
  • Donna = Done a lot of work for others
  • Tabitha = Keeping tabs on the kids
  • Fatima = Got fat from baby
  • Elgin = Spanish for "the gin" referencing how you would have to be drunk in order to think the kimono woman was on your side
  • Ellis = Ellis Island
  • Jade =
  • Victor = Vics vap-o-rub reference to his nasaly voice
  • Ethan = Ethanol, he starts the fire aka he starts the show mystery
  • Man in Yellow = Clear reference to his yellow suit

When will we see the cats implied by Father Cat Tree? Did the MiY eat all of them?

They were talking about Father Cat Tree this and Father Cat Tree that all first two seasons and now they hardly mention it.
