Warm weather and sun flaring my skin so bad

I’ve had rosacea all my life but it came in full throttle since being in my 30s. I’m 32 and today was our first hot 85 degree day of the year and my face freaked out. Just walking to my car and waiting for my car to cool off triggered my face to inflamed and red cheeks.feeling hot just in general in my home (I don’t have AC just my window unit in my room) just made my checks sting burn and inflame and turn red. How am I supposed to go through summer like this? I can’t avoid the sun and the heat forever and I want to enjoy being outside without my skin feel like it’s on fire. It’s never been this bad before. What do I do😩

Anyone find they needed to quit smoking in order to eat healthier?

I really have gotten to a point where I need to change my lifestyle around nutrition and overall health and wellness. I feel like if I don’t stop smoking I won’t be able to control my diet since smoking increases my appetite and makes me binge at times. I’m so scared because I’ve been smoking everyday for 10 years. It helped me survive a lot. Do people notice it’s easier to stay healthy when they don’t smoke?

I’ve been with my boyfriend for a couple months and I do really enjoy him. He treats me well, is kind, shows up, is consistent, but he’s pretty reserved and has a hard time talking about feelings. I brought this up to him bc as a couple we should be able to talk about how we feel about each other and where we see things going and he has been trying to meet me half way with that.

I’ve also only met his mom and brother and it was a quick hello nice to meet you moment. We didn’t sit and chat or spend time together. I still have yet to meet his friends too- which I’ve asked about and some are in a different life stage (about to have kids or have kids) so it’s harder to make plans with them and he’s also a gamer so a lot of his friends are virtual.

My mom pointed out he’s quiet and she doesn’t really know him and I told her I can’t force him to change his personality to make her feel more comfortable. Also I just don’t think she has really tried to get to know him either.

The longer we’re together the more comfortable he has become and he slowly shows his personality. Has anyone dated someone like this? If so how did you make it work? I’ve always dated extroverted guys so this is very different for me and I want to make it work. Or am I missing red flags?

Edit: we’ve been together 4 months

32 female one month living alone for the first time in my very own apartment and I just wanted to say this is the best thing I could have ever done for myself and I am loving every single moment of this. I lived with my family most of my life and was scared to take the leap but this is exactly what I needed and I’m so grateful. It was well worth the wait.
