Does anyone else have "create 2 characters, play them for a week then delete them and create 2 new characters" syndrome?

Is it just me? I name them, gear them out, set up every thing and go level and poke around and then within a week I just bank everything, scrap them and create two new character.

It's gotten to be the game within the game for me.

I've been gathering some gear, thinking about spinning up a new level 100 2 box.

I've been thinking of a very laid pack, ok you find difficult mobs and beat them down one at a time.

My reflexes are gone so chill is what I'm after.

People say you have to have a tank but do you really? To two box up through the world? Maybe join a few raids.

I'm thinking some combination of a Mage, Necro, BST and a Druid. Maybe add a monk in there?

Seems like the Mage, Necro would roll stuff.

Beast Druid would have a lot of utility.

Any idea for the 2 box using a combo of those 4 classes?

If so, are there any pieces of gear that I should pick up and armor pieces or clickers immediately? Before, I start the journey.

Thanks for your suggestions and input.

Cannot change mobile number or add email address. It is associated with an old cell number that I do not have access to any longer. I can still log in but I can't update any contact information.

Hey all-

I never really used Facebook but I do have an account from the past that I can log into. The one thing that I cannot do is either change the cell number on the account or add an email address to the account. Even though I am logged in it insists that I verify any change with an old cell number which is no longer mine.

I can't even add an email then delete the old cell. I get this message no matter how I seem to go about it.

I do not have that number any longer. Do I just have to delete Facebook and recreate or am I missing a path I haven't seen yet?

Thank you.

West Virginia Pictures

Heya folks-

I posted this on fo76 several days back and people were enjoying it but a few hours later it said "Sorry, this post has been removed by the moderators of r/fo76"

I hope this is ok. Original post:

I've been playing 76 since Beta on XBOX and then on PC. I live here in the mountains of West Virginia so I thought I might start uploading some real-life pictures of in game points of interest. I hope that's okay.

Back end of Summersville Lake in April at winter pool.

Again, in June at summer pool.

New River Gorge taken this morning.

Lighthouse day and night.

The reason why landlocked WV has a lighthouse - Almost Heaven - West Virginia

Thanks

Was my post removed?

Hi.

I posted a thread with some real-life pictures of some in game points of interest and a little later at the bottom of my original post it now shows:

Sorry, this post has been removed by the moderators of r/fo76.

Just to be clear, I'm not allowed to post pictured of in game to real life content of things like the Lighthouse, Asylum, Greenbank's Radio telescopes or of basically anything?

I was hoping to really show people what stuff in the state actually looks like, but I don't want to get into trouble.

I am new to the ways of Reddit and I don't want to get in trouble.

Thanks

I feel like I had really decent timing and a good spot of luck.

I wanted to build a new PC. My current PC was:

i713700

32GBs Memory

WD 1TB SSD

Samsung 2 TB 980 Evo

Nvidia RTX 4070ti

Had a good case, PSU and everything.

However, my oldest daughter decided that she wanted to go back to school in Comp Science. I'm a retired Sr. Software Engineer and doubled as a Sr. Account Manager and she I think wan ted to follow in my footsteps in some way.

Her computer was old and I told my wife that my current would be great for her If I could build me a new machine. *wink wink* clever thinking on my part.

So, I went shopping for close to three months and placed the bulk of my parts on 06/05/2025.

I went with a good set of parts that I really struggled over that ended up like this:

SAMA V60 PC Case - 79.99

ASUS B650E MAX GAMING WIFI W - AMD B650 AM5 ATX - 199.99

SAMSUNG SSD 9100 PRO with Heatsink 4TB 14k read / 13k write (I went back and forth on it but decided I needed the 4 TB with the r/w speeds for future proofing) - 799.99

ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7 OC Edition - 1009.99

Team Delta RGB 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6400 (PC5 51200) - 1225.00

CORSAIR HX1000i Fully Modular - 279.99

Rosewill Graphic Card support bracket, GPU Holder provide strong support - OEM - 10.00

Acer Nitro 34" QHD 2K 1440P 120hz with AMD FreeSync Premium 1ms - 199.99

Seagate Exos X16 ST14000NM002G 14TB 7200 RPM - 524.00

LG UltraGear 32" QHD 2K 1440P 180Hz with AMD FreeSync - 193.00

That's roughly $4800 in today's prices. I think I totaled out on the new build back then around $3300.00

If I would have waited 3-5 months, I would not have been able to build it. My daughter is running great on my old build, getting her bachelor's now. And my 1-year-old PC has zero issues and screams like an eagle.

Good luck on your current and future new builds / upgrades. I got very lucky with my components and here is me wishing you get your own luck and the right timing when you decide to gather your parts.

Praying for everyone to get what they want and get lucky on deals when they flash buy.

/cheers
