I am so unattracted to my bf

My bf (26m) and I (27f) have been together for 2 years now and we have a little one. I am at fault for not knowing better at the time, and moving quickly with this person. I knew him for 5 months before being official, I got pregnant 2 months into being together. Throughout my pregnancy I was repulsed by him, I didn’t find attractive physically and mentally. I found him to be really immature, not that smart, overly jealous, and not funny. I thought this was my hormones, a few other women have told me they’ve experienced this and then went back to loving their partners after giving birth. Fast-forward, I don’t feel repulsed but I still don’t find him attractive. I think most of it has to do with what kind of person he is. He is a mama’s boy so he cares more about what his mom thinks thank anything it feels even if it has to do with being there for our baby, he doesn’t do much around the place unless I ask him to, he doesn’t spend quality time with our baby, he cares more about what his parents and siblings think than anything so he doesn’t stand up to them as much, he doesn’t care about his hygiene, he doesn’t want to go out much and mainly like to watch tv, smokes, and drinks. Im more motivated, disciplined, outgoing, and positive. He makes me cringe with the things he says. He’s either extremely cocky or super insecure, no in between. I’m only with him for our baby, and I find that my love life will never get better because I don’t actually find the person I had a baby with attractive. I’m getting older, I want our baby to be with both parents - at least for her first few years.

Does any one else wonder what the red string Michael wore on his wrist meant?

Does anyone have a good idea as to what it may have meant to him? I’m so curious and it has me a little upset interviewers never asked him, especially when some of the interviews were pretty long.

Just broke up with partner, please let me know if this is reasonable or not.

I (27f)) have been with this person (26m) for almost 2 years. We would’ve hit 2 years in a few days. We live together and have a 1 yr old. It’s very tough circumstantially making a decision like this but we argue all the time and it escalates. Opposites attract but I think we are a just toooo different because we seem to not get eachother’s perspectives on alot. I tend to be more logical about things, and he’s more emotion-driven. He also has a hard time hearing anything I say when I express how I feel, I do say it in a calm and respectful manner, but he gets angry, defensive just about everytime and starts arguments trying to make me feel bad.

What got us to breakup was he punched the wall in our apartment in the middle of an argument that started because he got mad that I closed the door when I was changing my outfit. He found it offensive and of course I got very annoyed because I’m not sure why that’s something to get upset about. After he punched the wall, he bled, and started saying how I got him to this point. This rubbed me the wrong way because I feel he doesn’t have a grip on his emotions, and he’s trying to justify being as angry as he gets rather than self-reflecting and trying to be better.

TLDR; my partner and I argue way too much, we’re just very different people. An argument started because he got mad I closed the door when changing my outfit. It escalated, he ended up punching the wall in our apartment, leaving a mark and had bloody knuckles. He said this is the point I got him to and continued to justify why he gets as angry as he does. I decided to breakup with him but we do have a 1 yr old which makes it more difficult to decide what to do from here. Has anyone been in a similar situation or what is your perspective on this looking from the outside?

I’m not sure if I’ll love anyone like I’ve loved you

How are you? I miss you. What have you been up to? I think about you more than I should. Some days I feel fine, and other times I think of you and my heart feels heavy. I love you, and I’m wondering if you feel anything at all for me still.

I love my partner but not romantically

My partner (26M) and I (27F) have been together for almost 2 years. We have a 1 year old (yes we moved quickly). I’m at a point where I know I love him as a person, but I’m not sure if I love him romantically speaking. We have very different personalities and ways of thinking. I can finish his sentences, he always says the wrong thing when he tries finishing mine that I think to myself *how did he come up with that from what I was saying?* Hes really immature for his age, he doesn’t like going out and doing things as much and rather stay home, he just sits in the couch and watches movies, he doesn’t have goals except for our little one but not even for himself, he’s not disciplined, he doesn’t care for cleanliness and his hygiene, I have to tell him what to do all the time like I’m his mom. I don’t think he’s funny, we have different humor. There are many other things that make us bump heads a lot but the point is I don’t feel as happy in my relationship, I’d rather be single, but I do want to stay for awhile because it’s just much easier with having a little one for the time being. I also know that if we ever get to the point of separating and discussing co-parenting he will get very petty going about that. It sucks. I love my little one VERY much, but please be careful with choosing who you want to spend the rest of your life with

Finally healing

It’s been over 3 years of no contact, and I can finally say I feel these chains breaking loose from my heart. It is so exhausting, depressing, and draining being caught up in past memories and connections, and it feels amazing to not gaf about them anymore. I feel I’m able to focus more on what surrounds me now, and the love I’m receiving currently rather what was in the past. It’s been a long time of going through this that I feared it would be like this for the rest of my life. Turns out I’m wrong. Thank you God. I wish you guys the best of luck, you got this.

Anticipating

I’m anticipating the day we see each other, if it ever comes. You meant so much to me, and I haven’t loved anyone as much as I’ve loved you. I wonder if you feel the same way. I’m curious how you’re doing, and how it would be seeing you after so long.

As a Capricorn, which signs do you notice you do/don’t get along with?

Your moon sign, rising, mercury, all of it play in to who you truly get along with, so I know people can get along with signs that are said to be not compatible. I’m curious to know.

Have you noticed if you don’t or do get along with a specific gender under a sign as well?
For example, for myself I notice I don’t easily vibe with Gemini females, but Gemini males I just about always do.

Remember it’s all for a reason

No contact hurts for a while, and may be tough, but it’s a major part of healing and moving on. No matter how long it takes you to grieve the end of a chapter with someone, there is a better time ahead for you. Not everyone is meant to be with you forever, they are here for certain times of your life to help you grow and learn as well as you are for them. There is an important reason why things didn’t last and you have to remember that. It’s not easy, but it’s not impossible. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger

There’s not a day that goes by where you don’t cross my mind

My love for you runs so deep within me, I don’t know if I’ll ever love somebody as much as I loved you. Letting you go was one of the hardest things I could do emotionally. This isn’t one of those stories of the dumper regretting their decision and crawling back to their ex, this is about the person who loved someone so much but knew the toxicity in the relationship was never going to improve if someone didn’t leave. The growth I’ve experienced since proves to me I did the right thing. How are you doing? I wonder what you’ve learned. It’s been over 2 years, and there hasn’t been a day where you haven’t crossed my mind.

Do Taurus men look back at their past relationships even when they’re in a relationship currently?

I’ve heard Taurus men tend to look back at their past relationships often. Would you say this is true, and if it is what would the reason be?

How do you think you’d react seeing your ex of no contact, out coincidentally?

Knowing yourself as of right now, being genuine about it and honest, how do you think you’d feel/ react if you saw your ex out somewhere? Whether it be by themselves or with someone else it doesn’t matter, how would you be just seeing them after not seeing them or hearing from them for awhile now? I’m curious, and think this may help others realize where they’re actually at emotionally to an ex.

Who would I be more compatible with based off my signs?

My sun is Capricorn, moon is Aries, and rising is cancer. I saw previous posts saying the importance of mercury as well in relationships, mine is Sagittarius. I know the rest of my chart would probably be more helpful on finding this out, but based off of this information does anyone have an idea of what kind of person I’d get along with best?

My bf doesn’t care to change

My bf (26M) and I (27F) have been together for almost 2 years now. We have a 1 year old baby. I feel like motherhood has changed me so much in the best ways, but I’ve noticed he wants to be the same person he’s always been. I realize he has no goals in life, I’m not saying he has to have big ones but I personally don’t understand when someone doesn’t have goals to work on themselves or become a better them. He is very content with himself. He is lazy, lounges around all the time, he doesn’t care about his health (he thinks he’s “built different” and can withstand a lot of bad things just because he sees no immediate repercussion from it), he stays out late on the weekends to drink with his cousins, parents, siblings at their gatherings and says he’s unsure when he’ll be home (itll usually be around 12am-2am). That’s not even all of it. I’ve told him numerous times for the past year how I feel about this in respectful and polite ways, but now I see that I’m coming off more mean about it with how he hasn’t changed. I’ve told him many times what I find unattractive in a partner and what I like, but he seems to not think it’s important to be mindful of it. One day he said, “I already have you so it doesn’t matter.” Of course I responded saying I could leave, and even he could leave the relationship any day if we were really unhappy and that it’s not good to think that. He agreed, but he is still being the exact same person he’s always been! Has anyone gone through something similar? Or what are some outside perspectives?
