So what happens now?

I don't want to be a debbie downer but surely 1047 can't sustain like this. Are they planning on keeping this game In early access for 12 months? It's already hemorrhaged its not very sizable player base.

hopefully they can keep working on it and an official 1.0 launch can bring more players in but realistically I don't see how they're gonna be able to keep the game going for much longer.

My hopes for TESVI companions

I was thinking over the past Bethesda games and one thing that seems to be hit or miss are the companions. They've changed a bit since fallout 3 and while I think Skyrim has the worst Implementation of companions with a majority them being pretty bare bones I think a fusion of Fallout 3, Skyrim, and Fallout 4's companion system would be a pretty cool approach.

The main stand out aspect with Fallout 3's companions is the fact that you can have more than one. This went away with Skyrim for the most part And I think it would be pretty neat if you could have more than one party member with a max of 3 Kind of like Dragons Dogma. Skyrim had the largest roster of companions and I think you could still keep that with the ability to hire more generic Sellswords or other mercs whilst having like 5 or 6 more character driven companions À la Fallout 4(which had the best written companions In my opinion) making it so you could perhaps have 1 main companion and 2 Sellswords.

Now obviously balancing this would probably be the toughest obstacle and Elder scrolls has historically struggled with balancing due to the sheer size and amount of variables. You would have to find a way to make solo play still viable while having companions be rewarding, maybe with companion specific builds like illusion spells (which I personally feel in Skyrim weren't the best implemented) or bard skill trees.

This wouldn't really make or break the game for me and I can see the design philosophy with each iteration of the companion system, but going off of Starfield I think it's pretty safe to assume they're probably going to go for a more Fallout 4 style approach.

Is there any point of this being written this way?

If we're assuming standard tuning why write 5 on low E and 5 on A instead of Open A and open D? I got this off of songster so I know the tabs aren't accurate but is there any time you would need to write or play that way?

Using audio recordings.

This might be a really dumb question but I've been in lessons for about a few months now and while everything is going really well I have a question about my teachers method of sending me audio recordings of a song he wants to know as well as the sheet music.

How I usually go about learning the songs is I try sightreading the song (It's in standard notation and my sightreading isn't exactly great either), then I try playing through it a couple of times, then I play along with the recording to see if my timing is correct.

My question is if this an effective way to improve my actual sight reading skills. I do learn the songs relatively quick this way but I guess I'm concerned if I'm actually learning the songs or just memorizing them. Again this might be a weird thing to worry about but if you teach guitar would this be something you do?

All in all though things seem to be progressing and I'm happy with my teacher!

Seriously why does this guy get a sick ass revolver but we're stuck with shitty flintlocks. Rise of the Ronin had revolvers you could use as a quick shot mechanic. It be cool if Nioh could get a bit of that love.
