Hi All,

I am 30 and make about 130-155k per year in outside sales. My net worth is just over 300k. My current vehicle is a 2019 Mazda CX5 with 155,000 miles. A couple different mechanics told me the catalytic converter is going on it. I live in Colorado which is one of the most expensive states to replace a Cat. I was quoted around 4k. I will also need to replace brakes and tires soon. So probably looking at around 6-7k in maintenance this year on a car worth about 8-10k.

I have a couple friends who have got over 250k miles on their CX-5s so part of me wants to keep it.

On the other hand, I drive about 30k miles per year so I really value reliability and being comfortable.

Am looking at probably replacing it with a CRV hybrid, RAV4 hybrid, or CX-50 hybrid. I really just don’t know if I should buy a new car soon or see if I can get another couple years out of my current car. Any advice is appreciated. Ty!
