Played Aatrox to prove why BRUISER Rhaast feels bad

43% omnivamp with only 3 items

Aatrox is the living proof why you should not build HP items on Rhaast. I bought spirit visage before the game ended and I had 50% (FIFTY) TRUE omnivamp which is basically around 63% thanks to Spirit's healing amp. Furthermore, each hit by Aatrox's Q stacks Shojin unlike Rhaast's Q. If you hit all 3 Qs on anyone you get 3 stacks and if u hit W you get exactly 4 stacks within a single rotation. Rhaast gets 2 stacks per Q and W which means Rhaast needs 2 whole rotations to stack Shojin and can only benefit from the shojin stacks on his THIRD rotation (feel free to test in practice tool if you do not believe).

Theoritically speaking if you have overgrowth, double hp shards and 6 items on Aatrox you will get about 100% TRUE OMNIVAMP and you can push this even further with heartsteel.

Now let's adress the elephant in the room. Even though Aatrox scales INSANELY well off HP it still doesn't feel great to build HP items on him because bruiser items in general SUCK. Riot Phroxzon himself acknowledes that LDR is bis on almost every single champ in the game. Assassins and Bruisers go LDR every game because of how OP the item currently is so building BC over LDR feels bad (really bad actually).

Lethality Kayn is FAR stronger than Lethality Aatrox due to the large base omnivamp that does not need to be scaled any further. Moreover Rhaast gets to have the insanely broken combo which is Endless Hunger + LDR (karasmai made a post about this yesterday) and this is literally the CORE of Rhaast builds right now. Building Both Endless and LDR makes you a lobby admin all other items DO NOT MATTER whatsoever.

All in all building lethality with Endless + LDR is far superior to any kind of bruiser setups you can come up with and this is an irrefutable fact. LDR's passive synergizes AMAZINGLY well with Rhaast's kit because you usually pick red form into beefy comps so your %max hp dmg is amped by up to 15% for FREE. To explain to you why this is OP think about it this way. You require 3 rotations with Shojin to benefit from the 12% ability amp. LDR gives you 15% ability amp basically for free. LDR by itself would not have been as amazing as it is now if it weren't for Endless Hunger though. The HEART of Rhaast is currently the endless hunger + LDR combo.

I want to reach out to all Kayn mains and convince you not to build HP items on the champion so that Riot can finally acknowledge the miserable state red form has been in for years now. Don't worry Light Fighter and Assassin setups are beyond broken and once you have your LDR + Endless combo you're lobby admin oneshotting anyone.

Stormraider's Surge

I don't know who needs to hear this but Conq is a really really really REALLY awful keystone on Kayn. It's almost impossible to stack it 90% of the time. Conq is very very bad on Kayn yet people still go for it. There are better alternatives and I've finally found one that I consider to be extremely solid. It works amazingly well on both forms and every single rune makes a huge impact&perfectly synergizes with Kayn's kit.

  1. Stormraider's is an awesome keystone
  2. Axiom Arcanist - Kayn is one of the best axiom arcanist users because of how reliant he is on ult. (Darius Garen and Kayn are the top 3 best axiom arcanist users in the entire game)
  3. Transcendence - Haste is awesome
  4. Gathering Storm - Extra AD on a champ that scales exceptionally well off AD. (More ad than conq past min 30)

Every single rune here is best in slot and the keystone gives a lot of mobility and outplay potential that has clutched me lots of fights and picks.

Secondary runes can be anything you like. Inspiration/Precision/Resolve all work.

Conq is not a suitable keystone for Kayn anymore because he is by far the slowest conq stacker in the entire game. Moreover, he does not like extended fights because he hardly ever builds HP items (most HP items are bad on him). This is yet another main reason why Kayn cannot actually utilize the conq keystone to its fullest potential unlike every other bruiser in the game.

A champion that stacks Conq almost as slowly (not quite as slow though) as Kayn is Aatrox. Why does Aatrox benefit more from the keystone..? Well if we look at his absurd HP scaling on E and his juggernaut build we can easily conclude he is far more suited to go for Conq. On top of that his ult doubles the healing of conq so that's yet another great synergy that Kayn does not have. Kayn has literally 0(zero) synergy with conq as a keystone therefore he should not opt into it unless Riot decides to give him proper HP scalings in the future. Until them I believe Stormraider + a relatively light fighter/assassin playstyle is most befitting. Cyclosword and LDR far exceeded my expectations on the champion as well. I used to be an LDR hater but after I tested the dmg against a dummy in practice tool and compared it to serylda I realized how much more broken LDR is.

Anyways ! I expect more people to opt into this kind of playstyle in the future because this is what works best. Basically almost any keystone is better than Conq (fleet for example) but IMO stormraider's surge takes the cake. How do you guys feel about the runes or the champion's itemization in season 16..? Do you think Conq will ever make a comeback?

BC is OP now

It's shocking to me that people still build Shojin on this character despite the W buffs + BC buffs that Riot recently shipped. BC is arguably better than Shojin no matter how you look at it. They give the same amount of AD and HP now but BC has a superior passive. Not only do you make your autos and W hurt more, but you also heal more AND make it so that your ADC deals far more dmg to the target you're hitting. Too many benefits from this item it's absolutely disturbing that no one ever considers building it.

Why do people still build Shojin over BC? There is no world in which Shojin ever outperforms BC. Sure Shojin does make Q hit a TINY bit harder but that's literally it and it's hard to stack too.

Singlehandedly inflating this champ's wr in Emerald+

Recent match history

This is my recent match history. I made a post earlier about how crucial it is to make plays on the map and be as aggresive as possible in order to accumulate 150+ stacks. Bel'Veth is pretty much like Nasus. Stacks are more important than gold. I usually play to reach 150 stacks at around 30 minutes. The most important power spike on Bel'Veth is basically going past 120 stacks. Grubs + Aggressive plays all the time can easily get you there.

This is a post to all the delusional redditors who think it's impossible to reach 150 stacks at min 30.
There's not a single game in which I don't get to at least 100 stacks in solo queue. If I don't get to 100 stacks that means I've done something horribly wrong. Do not come up to me with excuses like "you're just fed" "you got lucky" "you're smurfing" and what not. If you can't reach 150 stacks it's a massive skill issue on your part. This is the git gud guide I can offer you all.

Who says it's impossible to reach 150 stacks before 30?

160 stacks min 34

To all those who think it's a joke reaching 150+ stacks before min 40. I am not super fed or anything.. I just farmed well and did all objectives with the help of my team. Bel'Veth is at her strongest when she gets to 150 stacks. The difference between 80 stacks and 150 stacks is mindblowing. Try getting to 150 stacks every game and you will never lose a game. Getting to 150 stacks means you played your early well, ganked well, did objectives well and now you're a giga rewarded 1 v 9 raidboss.

So many delusional people said 80 stacks is her peak and that getting to 150 stacks would require a 90 minutes game.. This is dedicated to all the delusional redditors on this subreddit :)

Bel'Veth's 150th stack

Tested multiple matchups in practice tool with a friend. Bel'Veth at 150+ stacks completely annihilates champions like master yi trundle jax volibear kayn yone yasuo zaahen camille gwen and fiora. There's not a single champion that can beat Bel'Veth once she has more than 150 stacks. At 100 stacks there are still some champions that CAN outplay and win but it becomes literally impossible post 150. I don't know if this has been established yet but her 150th stack is the most important one. It means you can never lose a duel anymore and you can easily 1 v 2 non duelists. Reaching the 150th stack should always be your PRIORITY because that's the carry condition that must be met for her to actually solo carry effortlessly. Stacks are the most important thing on Bel'Veth far more important than gold and exp. Maybe this info is useful to all you bel'veth mains out there ^^

Armour Pen is needed in big 2026

Every new champ seems to have a lot of shred.. think of gwen briar ambessa zaahen etc. I wish they'd give Rhaast armour pen scaling from 10% to 30% because it's annoying to stack lethality and armour pen items in order to heal on this champ. Maybe then people would start building items like eclipse steraks bc and overlord's bloodmail? Obviously they can't just give him armour pen for free Riot still needs to nerf something in his kit to make this happen unless we want him at 60% wr.

What do you guys think? Do you like the idea of Rhaast having innate shred in his kit? Could this actually make bruiser Rhaast a thing..?

Can we have a complete revert like Gwen?

I don't like the new Bel'Veth she is unplayable in high elo. Do I just drop this champion from my champ pool now? What am I supposed to do?

Bel'Veth about to be the best version of Kayn

Extremely high mobility, oneshot potential, tank shred, drain tanking. Bel'veth is the best of both worlds (blue and red kayn). You'd be trolling not to pick up this champ as your second main after her rework. I've always considered this champion to be the best champion in the game. She has everything you want. It will take some games to get used to her but once you get the hang of her she is just a better Kayn I promise you guys. If you want free LP especially in like low masta (where I like to play her when I don't see the Kayn angle). Her playstyle will be a lot more reactive meaning you have to full clear, gather a lot of resources for yourself and play selfish for the most part so that you can scale into the late game monster Kayn used to be like 5 years ago. I suppose her main build will be kraken > bork > guinsoo. Are you guys looking forward to her rework? Personally I am really excited because I love this reactive jungle playstyle with high tempo and giga scaling. I love Kayn buut his champ identity has been ruined and he no longer scales so this is a good scaling pick into many comps I imagine.

Eclipse worst item in the game?

I know many of you like Eclipse but is there a single champion left in the game that still builds it? I feel like this item is by far the worst item this season. Nobody ever wants to build it because there are always better alternatives. It's bad even on champions that want/like to build it like our boy Kayn. Will there ever be a comeback for this item or do we have to wait till the season is over?

All HP items are bad on Rhaast

I always find far more success with lethality rhaast than bruiser Rhaast. I have absolutely no clue why people still build HP on him though. Black Cleaver takes too long to stack and deals less dmg compared to Serylda. Shojin is the only other "good" HP item you can build but pales in comparison to alternatives with no hp. There's not a single HP item that is best in slot on the champion. Stop building HP items on him and you will find yourselves winning more games than usual. It will take some time to get used to the lethality red kayn playstyle but I promise you that it's worth it once you get the hang of it. It also allows you to 1 v 1 champions like yone which otherwise you'd never beat in a 1 v 1.

The veasher has a good Rhaast page. I sometimes go his build but I mostly go lethality. I believe Bastion Breaker is also an incredibly broken item on Rhaast. Axiom Arc is an Item that I do not recommend though. I'd suggest getting endless hunger in place of axiom arc 100% of the time. DD and Endless Hunger are the only good bruiser items and neither of them gives you HP. A good build would consist of full lethality with DD and Endless Hunger. You always wanna go either tabis or omnivamp boots. Never mercs and ionian boots !!!

I can't think of a single HP item besides Shojin that is actually good on Rhaast. I hope all of you start running a no HP Rhaast setup in your games so that Rhaast's WR can increase and make the balance team wonder what's happening (again). They will likely give his Q hp scalings too so that we can actually build items like sundered sky and steraks without giga trolling our games. For now all HP items are basically just bad on Rhaast and will not change in a long time!

This champion's identity is just doomed !!!

The champ needs a midscope asap. She is listed as a duelist when you hover her in champ select = she's bad at it. Riot says she is meant to be a 1 v 9 champion late game.. guess what. She is far from that. Her kit screams "I kill tanks" with her hybrid and true dmg yet she struggles against tanks unlike most other toplaners like ambessa yone fiora darius gwen etc.. Yone and Ambessa are just as good at killing squishy champions as Camille if not better. The champ has a lockdown on R which is the only reason why she is relevant in top and especially support. Being able to ult someone and basically guarantee your team the kill is a massive win rate spike for her. Since the removal of DS and the wall changes she's been feeling awful to play. Been playing mostly other champs but I still get back to Camille from time to time for the good old times. I really love the champion but her champion identity has been screwed over by the balance team over the years and specifically ever since the durability patch.. that's when the champ started going downhill.. If anyone from Riot is reading this I hope you guys realize no one is happy with the state of the champion. Extremely boring and unfun compared to before and somehow the champ still feels fun to me (used to be tens of times more fun to play though!). I really miss the old Camille...

To all the Zaahen mains

I know Zaahen isn’t exactly a popular pick right now, and honestly, it’s easy to see why. He feels objectively worse than Darius in almost every single category. It feels like Riot tried to make "Darius 2.0" but stripped away everything that actually makes a juggernaut viable.

My biggest gripes:

  1. The Passive: Why does he just get bonus AD instead of something unique like Omnivamp? It feels redundant and lazy compared to other modern kits.
  2. Build Path: Zaahen can’t build tanky like Darius without completely gutting his damage. Darius gets to be a frontline menace while still executing people; Zaahen just feels squishy and fragile by comparison. Darius can just build full tank and still have amazing damage.. why can't Zaheen do the same without compromising his damage..?
  3. The Armor Pen: Darius gets a massive 40% armor pen for free on top of a true damage ultimate. Why does Zaahen only get 30%? If anything, he needs that extra 10% just to stay relevant in the current meta.

Darius dominates the early game and still manages to outscale Zaahen in a pure 1v1 because of his superior defenses and armour pen. You can blind pick Darius and win most lanes, but Zaahen feels like a massive liability if the matchup isn't perfect. You really ca't blindpick this champion.

So what do you guys think..? Is there actually any niche Zaahen fills that I'm missing? Do you think he deserves some adjustments/mini rework like Briar and Ksante in the past?

Ambessa needs as much armour pen as Darius.

Building armor pen items on Ambessa feels surprisingly underwhelming right now. I don't understand why she isn't allowed to have 40% passive armor penetration like Darius.

Let's compare the two:

  1. No True Damage: Unlike Darius, Ambessa doesn't have a massive true damage execute on her R to bypass resistances.
  2. Early Game Weakness: Her early game is significantly weaker than Darius’s, yet she doesn't seem to scale into a better tank-shredder to compensate.
  3. Win Rate: Her current WR is already on the lower side, suggesting she needs a bit of help in the current meta.

I think bumping her armor pen from 30% to 40% would make her a much more enticing pick into tank-heavy compositions. It feels like Fiora, Gwen, and Vayne are the only "real" responses to tanks, while champions like Ambessa and Camille who are supposed to specialize in taking down tanks struggle way more than they should.

If she’s meant to be a specialized fighter, she needs the tools to actually threaten tanks once they start stacking armor. What do you guys think? If armour pen is not the way then they could also buff her life steal scaling on ult...
