I am going through a damage dispute with Turo currently for a complete engine failure in a Mercedes GLC. Legal stuff aside because this is an incredibly sketchy and fishy case, there's a (hopefully unlikely) possibility Turo will be charging me the cost of the car. Turos insurance doesn't cover mechanical damage. Check post history for full story if you want but anyways.
Turo gives you 2 weeks to pay invoices. I'll be requesting a negotiation and also arbitration so I can delay this a bit but in the event that Turo charges me for the cost of a Mercedes engine replacement which I cannot afford, at a 640 credit score how much would a collection of upwards of 20,000 tank my credit? I'm young, no plans to buy soon, have credit cards with perfect payment history so I really do not want to explore bankruptcy, but I'm at a loss here and hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.
hi everyone i have a reservation tn at mai for 2 i cant make, i dont rlllly wanna pay the 25 fee per person. its at 7:30. anyone want :p?
Hi everyone! i've been running into this issue for a few years now and am needing help. I am dry - bone dry. My cheeks in particular almost feel like sandpaper, the skin literally peels off and flakes off like dead skin. I exfoliate using the Kora exfoliator and then cleanse with Kiehls. Tone with Paula's Choice and Tatcha for moisturizer. It'll fix it for the day but then the next day... same thing. I've tried avoiding toner/exfoliation/etc. and just cleansing and moisturizer but it makes it worse. It's almost like I need to exfoliate EVERY day but there's no way that can be healthy? Any ideas, please. I'm desperate.
Is there anyway to get a full report based on the report ID? I'm currently being scammed via Turo and the host will only provide me with Page 8 of the report, trying to see if I can get the full report based on the report ID on my own?
Thanks!
Hello - I've posted here a few times but am looking for some insight here.
I rented a car on Turo for Coachella, I basically did not use the car. Drove from Palm Springs to Indio and back, that was it. Otherwise the car was parked the entire time. No engine issues, no mechanical issues, no oil issues, no running issues. We dropped the car off at 10am with zero issues whatsoever, left the car and hopped on my flight home. I landed and immediately got off the flight to a Turo claim that the damage said the car was undriveable and there was a huge oil leak. (The host picked up the car at dark so not sure when it was retrieved) The car has had numerous claims that there was oil leaking from the car. Turo is asking me to provide additional evidence, but I have NO way of proving that the car was NOT leaking oil at the time? What are my options here, I'm about to be charged out the ass for a repair for damage that I didn't cause nor was even aware of.
Have been in my apt for like 3 years now, about to move. Wondering what you guys are being asked/required to provide when applying? NYC is a little different than Boston and my landlord here is really easygoing so not sure what the norm is across the city now.
Taking my mom back to Disneyworld in August of next year. We stayed at a villa in OKW because I brought my nephew and ex boyfriend but now we're just doing a trip the two of us :) She wants to stay at Riverside for money but I have enough money to really book us wherever we want so I'm gonna tell her I booked Riverside and probably book somewhere else.
I'd love somewhere not super kid themed and rampant with kids (i know i know, it's still disney) and some place with 1. a tub in the room and 2. a balcony. That being said what places are best for these options?
Hi everyone - visiting NOLA in June for a work trip. My company is staying at the Windsor and I'll be there from Monday - Thursday but I'm staying a few extra day and looking to maybe stay somewhere a little bit cheaper/more central? Was thinking of maybe the Four Seasons but that's stretching my budget a little bit and I'd rather have some place a bit more authentic. Suggestions?
Just wanted to share that advocating for yourself is so important. I asked for a rescan with about ten weeks left, and I'm so glad I did. Before vs after my rescan. These finally feel like they fit again LOL
Hey everyone - hitting about 70 here in Boston and I'm excited to grill! I had a pretty full propane tank before the winter but wondering if there's any precautions or anything I should take note of before I try to use the grill? It was outside and literally probably covered in snow for most of the winter so just checking :)
from a trip and opened up my phone to see a damage report. Owner is saying car isn't drivable, the check engine light is on and there's an oil leak - literally none of these things are true but I don't know how to prove the car doesn't have an oil leak or is drivable? I obviously had to drive it to the drop off location so I'm just a little confused here.
What are next steps, how much could I be on the hook for, how do I accurate dispute that these things are inaccurate without actual proof
Now the update: I disputed this immediately, with tons of support suggesting this car very clearly
has an oil leaking problem. The host provided no after photos to show the car itself wasn't damaged so I'm kind of at a loss here - what are next steps? Nobody has ben communicative at all. It's been nearly 2 weeks
