Hard to believe that in two weeks 007 First Light will finally be released and I am excited

I played a lot of the James Bond games when I was younger with my favorites being GoldenEye, Nightfire, Everything or Nothing and From Russia with Love.

Along with that I grew up with the films and recently started getting into properly reading the original Ian Fleming Bond books. So as you can tell the 007 franchise has been a huge part of my life since childhood to adulthood.

Words are not enough for me to express how excited I am for this game as I had been anticipating this game ever since it was announced in 2020 by IOI Interactive. With everything I had seen so far; it is looking like it could end up being the next favorite Bond game of mines right alongside the ones I mentioned.

I said this in the past, but I have faith that IOI Interactive will successfully do what Rocksteady Studios and Insomniac Games did for Batman and Spider-Man with the Batman Arkham series and Insomniac Spider-Man games, but with James Bond in this case. Delivering on the fantasy of making us "feel" like 007 himself to a masterful level.

So yeah the hype is real for 007 First Light and I cannot wait.

Any Bond fans here share similar sentiments as I am for First Light?

How in the world does one say this with a straight face when it is one of the many "good" tools that is capable of shutting down DD?

Having an Emma flair saying Daredevil's deflect "stops" her grab only to be proven wrong and got no response? crazy

Currently my most wanted Star Wars and Dungeons & Dragons MU atm and its already one step closer to becoming an official episode in the near future.

Revan and Dark Urge are both one of my all time favorite RPG protagonists of all time next to Joker from Persona, so this MU means a lot to me.

If you NEITHER of you played Knights of the Old Republic (aka one of the greatest Star Wars games of all time) and/or Baldur's Gate 3... What are you doing? GO change that now especially if you are a fan of RPG games.

Whenever Karen comes up into the conversation from comic book readers of Daredevil - most of them would often only talk about her "betrayal" of Matt during the story of Frank Miller's Born Again or her death in Kevin Smith's Guardian Devil storyline.

But rarely or almost never talked about any of her moments that built off of her growth and development post-Born Again which understandably so has made her kind of a "divisive" character among the Dardevil fandom and that is truly a shame because this was where I felt she truly started to shine as her own character such as this moment in the 90's era of Daredevil from Karl Kessel.

For context in this moment in time; Karen becomes a radio talk show host here emphasized how much of a positive impact that Matt had on her and helped her get through difficult times thus she wants to use that experience to help others who have gone through similar experiences plus beautifully articulating what makes him a hero of the people - as she defends him from the schisms from the people of New York having doubts and skepticism on whether Daredevil could really fill in the void as being a "heroic protector" of the people due to the absence of the Avengers and Fantastic Four during this time.

I will start with mines...

  • First pet peeve/frustration of mines when playing Daredevil is when I wait patiently, scouting from the high ground to look for the "perfect" opportunity to dive on someone who is ether isolated or distracted - waiting for my team to fully engage the enemy team so that they wouldn't be able to hard focus me, but then I look in ABSOLUTE horror on my kill feed that half of my team is somehow getting picked off left & right even from things I felt like they shouldn't be realistically dying to and giving me very little opportunities to dive in safely which leads to my team saying shit like "Our DD is AFK doing nothing".

  • Second pet peeve/frustration is when I see that my whole team is already engaging the enemy team and forcing out resources. I am clearly in the LOS of my team where they should see me so that was my que to go in, but HALF of the enemy team starts turning their attention on to me anytime I dove on their DPS or support - you'd think my team would start pushing up and capitalize on those opening opportunities when there is no longer pressure put on them right? WRONG... Instead 8 - 9/10 for WHATEVER reason they choose to STILL sit back and play passively as they watch me get ganged up on and causing me to die if I fail to escape then I get accused by them that I am "feeding the enemy team" or "bad/horrible" at the game.

Its infuriating this regularly happens SOO often in my Diamond - Low GM lobbies yet I almost never had to deal with this type of problem in my Silver - Plat lobbies IDK why...

What's your story DD mains? what's your own pet peeve/frustration when playing him?

This is mainly because of the fact I am a long time reader of Daredevil comics. When Kirsten was introduced in Mark Waid's Daredevil run as Matt's new love interest - Karen and Heather were both already long dead so her chance to interact with ether of them were zero.

However with the MCU interpretation of Daredevil and its cast of characters, things are completely different as both Karen and Heather are alive in this continuity at the same time as Kirsten which allowed the latter to actually interact with them both. Something that would never happen in the comics.

What are Daredevil fan's thoughts on this? do you like the fact that we are getting a mix and match of characters from different eras of Daredevil's history being to able fluently interact and crossover with each other?
