Hildolfr converted Trench Tank
Every started with me digging up a relic resin brick from B-Club. A Hildolfr sculpture. Those of you who are deep into Gunpla would know…
It suddenly occurred to me it would be a good trench tank for the Pilgrims.

Unfortunately, an entire bottle of Army Painter Dry Blood bursted open on my table due to the mixing ball blocking the nozzle. In Collateral damage my WIP Shrine Anchorite was also soaked in blood.
I used this opportunity to make its upper level soak in a mixture of dried and fresh blood. It kinda looks good and forms a contrast with the rest of the model. I hope you like it too.
I am quite happy with the texture variation and flesh effects. I hope you enjoy this abomination too.

I am quite happy with the texture variation after some final washes. Still got a lot to improve on the flesh effects. I hope you like him 👍
I will work more on the flesh and gore, but the tone is set
I painted him with the Orphan of Kos in mind.
I am quite happy with the subtle differences of texture in flesh. I put particular efforts into the texture of the back mantle. I want it to feel like a living squid skin, instead of rotten/dirty flesh.
Everything is done using contrast paints, dry brushing and enamel washes.

Trying out armour texture on mono-color metallics
Thanks to the generous amount of spare bodies from the penitent engine box, my Land Raider now has 2 honks

I have been painting space marines and this is my first attempt at grimdark flesh. I thoroughly enjoyed the process and am now hooked into Trench Crusade aesthetics.
I hope you like this piece and would appreciate C & C!
Might do some tiny variation in colors after the enamels dry, but I’d almost call it done.
I can’t express how much I am hooked into the aesthetics of Trench Crusade.
The base model is a cheap FDM I got off Etsy. I wanted to use it to test a new painting scheme. It has some horrendous printing/layer lines.
I ended up quite liking it, as the layer lines feel like armour textures after weathering. I then started adding details to make it a proper land Raider.
I hope you enjoy it too :)
I’ve been debating between the Kratos battle cannon and the Melta blast-gun. Decided to settle with the battle cannon for the chained look. I also added some subtle candle piles here and there for the Templar flavor.
I got some old resin doors and the immolator turret, and kitbashed them onto the rhino chassis. I really look forward to paint them up :)
Testing my alternative scheme on more important character models. I hope you like him and I appreciate C&C!
Blending off white, off black, burgundy and gold together :)
Hi friends, I get the chance to buy myself one of the larger "battleforce" boxs, and want your advice on which one to buy. I've been painting some sisters, but have not played a game with them yet. I want to use this box to get prepared for the 11th edition.
I already have the old Combat Patrol box, and most of the HQs or battleline units, so the new Armaggedon Combat Patrol is just repetitive for me. I am debating between the Army of Faith box and the Penitent Crusader Host.
The Penitent box will give me 2 Rhinos (I know they are a must and I don't have any) and a Repentia squad, although I already have a Penitent Engine box.
The Army of Faith box offers lots of flying units (I don't currently have any), and I read that they are buffed in the 11e and might be important. Although I already own an Exorsist.
Please let me know which box is better to get (or if you have other recommendations). Many thanks!
She has been a good friend to the Black Templars on the tabletop as an amazing tech piece.
I want to try her in a game vs. Necrons so I painted one. With chains on legs and little cross on the forehead as Templar flavors.
It’s a goofy but super cool model!
