When i had almost close to 250 followers , i approached to multiple big brands and they all used to send a form link where you have to filll all your details but now problem starts here only as once you are added in the database it will be saved forever like that only , they are never gonna update your followers and big brands usually reach out to creators that have 1000+ followers so now since they have saved my followers as 250 so there is 99% chance that i will never get a text from their end .

Tbh this i regret till now as i have lost many opportunities due to this as when new ad campaign is launched they only reach out to those creators that are already in their database and that have 1000+ in their database .

When you’re new to UGC, brands will often offer you free products in exchange for a video. And when you’re trying to build your portfolio, that offer can feel tempting.

Your time, Your creativity, Your scripting, Your shooting, Your editing and most importantly Your content rights.
A product isn’t always fair payment for all of that. I’d rather take fewer paid projects than fill my portfolio with unpaid work that takes hours to create.
Learn to value your work early. The more you accept free work, the harder it can become to convince brands to pay you later. You don’t need to accept every opportunity just because you’re starting out.
