Is it worth listing something valuable if you’re a new seller?
My mom passed away last year and was a lifelong “I’m going to sell that on eBay” gal. The plan is to list some of her larger collector items that don’t have sentimental value and donate the rest. Is it risky in terms of value to try to sell more rare items on eBay as a first time seller? I by no means am looking to make the most and profit off of my mother’s collection, and I know this is what she wanted done with this stuff, but at the same time I hate the thought of things she has kept stored for decades that a true collector would want being sold to someone for $20 because it didn’t get exposure.
She has a mix of 60s-90s pop-culture memorabilia and modern day collectibles, a lot of items that were made as one time promos or “1 of 1000” kind of things.
