I bought a watch worth 12-13k. It came few days ago. It was open box delivery so I started recording video on my phone. I checked the watch looked new as it was having a plastic film on the dial. I was skeptical because I was wondering if bracelet should have the plastic film or not? But I thought may be am overthinking. I checked the watch for scratches & stuff, gave the delivery guy otp.

As soon as I came in, I was about to adjust the link for my wrist & set time, I saw the crown is missing. I checked the box, it was inside opened up (the stem was attached to the crown).

I immediately raised replacement request attaching the photos. The customer care called me, it was a girl. After hearing all of my stuff, she kept me on hold for a few mins & after that she told that seller will not approve it as you checked the watch yourself & gave otp. I tried to explain her, but all she said is that it isn't possible to replace now. Then I asked what should I do? She straightup said that go to a local watch shop & get it fixed. I knew it will cost me a lot as it is an automatic watch. And company doesn't have any authorised aftersale service in India.

I visited a few reputed shops who deals with nh35 or in-general automatic movements.

One told me that it will cost around ₹2500, another told me ₹900 & the third whose shop is from 1950s, they told it will cost ₹750. They all told the same thing that the stem is not unscrewed but it is broken & a small portion is stuck inside. They will have to open the caseback, get the small metal portion out & install a new crown. Even after opening the watch & inspecting, the older shop guy told that the movement is broken as well & date will not fucntion with the crown. The date will advance after 12am automatically but I wont be able to change the date with the crown manually. For that I will need to advance timing 24-48 hours depending on the month to set the date. Fixing it will cost a lot as they will have to disassemble the whole watch movement & it isnt worth for a new watch.

My heart didn't accept all these for a new watch. So I came back home. Then I checked the open box delivery video I recorded & I saw it was clearly visible that the crown isn't in the watch even in the video. I made a mistake of checking the watch & gave otp.

I tried calling again. This time it was a guy. He saw the photos & listened to me that I even have it recorded in my open-box video. He again put me on hold. And after a few mins, he said that the seller accepted your replacement.. Really?🙄 Does the first customer service girl didn't even ask the seller or requested a replacement?

Today the replacement unit came. And yes, I was right. Even the bracelet must have a plastic film which was there in this new unit. It means the unit I got earlier must have been returned before as well & they didn't bother fixing it & sent it to a new customer.

For little context, I am asking for my friend. She lives with her family in Thane. Relocation for Pumba means pg or hostel. So answer accordingly. Any help would be appreciated. Skeptical because of the pgdm course scenario & placement issues in weschool.

Any Allain main player? Can you tell me any good build of yours? Especially my Arcana's are not maxed as I started playing just 10 days ago. Is it possible to make him work in clash lane? If yes then which clash lane opponents I should fight early on & whom to avoid fighting in early game & wait till late game? I am not that high in ranked too, just somewhere near Diamond 3 or 4.

So I recently purchased Moondrop NiceBuds just to try. Because in-ear type earphones or iems don't fit properly in my ears, especially my left. My left canal seem to be little different & pains my left ear generally after 30mins of use of any in-ear type earphones.

So i gone with budget flathead just for some fun.

What i am noticing is suddenly my google assistant gets started or sometimes the volume gets lower till reaches 0.

My device: Samsung S23 Ultra.

Dac: Audiocular Sparx (I purchased it around a year ago while purchasing my first iem Tanchjim bunny)

I tried using the 3.5mm directly in my Unihertz Jelly Star phone, it seems okay & no ghost volume low issue as of now.

The NiceBud doesn't have a volume controller or any buttons in the wire. Could it be the my finger touching the typeC of my dac or my dac misbehaving? Or my NiceBuds faulty?
