Right now, he's the doting father-to-be and has got everything he's wanted. It looks like very soon it's all going to be taken from him with Penny due to give birth in September.

The baby is not Vinny's and the relationship will end—and it's not clear if Penny will be alive or dead by the flashforward.

Are we going to see Vinny snap? Smash up Penny's precious new store? Are we going to see it's a case of 'like father, like son' afterall?

Laura D is a powerhouse of an actor and won me over in her first scene. She's the best casting EE has done in ages.

On the one hand, I'm so glad Nicola has been unshackled from Teddy, Harry's dead gf, and the weird Zack subplot. They've also invested in her with the new Hawkins family.

On the other hand, they've now suffocated her with boring George (he bizarrely had more chemistry with 'Lainey') and a goddamn baby! And turned her into a snivelling wreck, rather than let her just be a single boss woman.

I'm also wondering where things are heading with Eve. It could be a great friendship and actually give Eve a purpose beyond Suki's lapdog—but it does look like Nicola could also "turn bi" (give me a break) on the whim of some EE writer at this point.

It's hard to know how much Wadey pulls the strings and how much the writers' room is smoking something, but Nicola is such a gem and should be the star of EE now that Linda is leaving, and yet they continue to give her rubbish to work with.

I have always loved the look of Venice and wondering how it is to navigate as a solo traveller.

I can get quite anxious in unfamiliar situations and can be introverted. I love cities like NYC where I can just walk & explore. This may sound bizarre but the thought of having to get a gondola solo makes me cringe….

I also don’t know any Italian but would try to learn at least some basics.

Would love to know how others found exploring Venice on their own.

I am a big book reader but I have found books in English here cost a lot of money (e.g. 25 euros on Amazon here vs 9 pounds in the UK for the same book). Stores like Come In are not much cheaper.
To save money, I would like to use the libraries but I doubt they will stock the English fiction I am after. If you make a request, do they order books in for you?
I have not used a library for about 30 years and yet to try the ones in Barcelona.

I really want Kelly to team up with someone who has better taste. Kelly can SINNNNG but I do think she lacks creative vision at times…. The Chemistry album was a mess, whereas her tv show covers show such potential. Imagine if the Billie Eilish cover had been a Kelly original!

A CD could bring a really cohesive album together, with a proper sound and style executed throughout. I don’t think Kelly has really nailed that since Breakaway.

Honestly, I’d love to see something like The London Sessions and see Kelly paired with a Brit producer who can do rock & grit but also something really slick & minimal.

She is such a huge vocal talent and her discography is not as polished or acclaimed as she deserves.

I’m wondering if somehow we’re going to see Ian and Gray meet in prison — like Sharon & Chrissie.

Ian would most likely be on bail if found guilty — but could be remanded in custody if there’s risk of him absconding or interfering with justice.

I’m not sure yet how all the dots join up, but somehow they link back to Chelsea. Gray must have some revenge plot or escape plan in mind, and will use Ian in some way.

Ian is best man for Max (!) so he doesn’t go down for good. Ian’s case somehow has to fall apart quite significantly and find redemption.

I think Gina will find out about Harry and Penny, and the baby's paternity, and spiral. Probably a one night stand with huge regrets — but I think Max cheating on Cindy with her own daughter is classic soap doof doof territory.

I think I’m spending too much time alone — and 95% of my dialogue in any given week is my internal monologue. The analysis of the day to day, the ruminating, the projecting, the wandering & wondering. Very main character energy, very living in my own little movie.

My answer is going through life alone. Don’t get me wrong, I am ok with it & have become v independent. But living life alone is hard. No one else to share the weight of making hard decisions, to help with admin, to pick up financial strain.

Having no one but ourselves to count on is something I am proud to have achieved and to overcome some really hard chapters - but I think many don’t realise how hard it is.

I am planning a journey (as a digital nomad, working and sightseeing) to SE Asia later this year. I have never been to this part of the world.

I have trying to balance best weather conditions, budget and travel logistics, as well as being in places long enough so I can work if a project comes in, and not rush the experience.

• Bali (Seminyak): Sept, 4 weeks
• Hanoi: Oct, 4 weeks (could potentially do Hanoi for 2 weeks + 2 weeks elsewhere in Vietnam)
• Hong Kong: Nov, 4 weeks
• Bangkok: Dec-Jan, 4 weeks
• Cambodia: Jan, 2 weeks (break from work)
• Sydney: mid-jan onwards...

I am brand new to researching this trip. Advice v welcome (but pls be kind, i am brand new to travelling like this.)

I'd really appreciate any help understanding where to stay in Bali for approx 4 weeks.

I have just watched an insta reel with a map of the island and honestly it's left me confused as I don't want to stay in the wrong area or miss out on seeing what it has to offer.

I was thinking 4 weeks in Seminyak, with perhaps day trips to elsewhere. I will be working remotely so I do need a solid base rather than constantly moving. I am looking to be able to gym and eat out a bit, work in my apartment or from co-working/cafes—as well as enjoy the beach and cultural sites. So a mix of tourism and more everyday life.

I could potentially do 3 weeks in Seminyak and then a week somewhere else that gives a different flavour of Bali. I understand the north is rice fields/more rural?

I am very much in the beginning of my research and unfamiliar with Bali/SE Asia, so it's all very new (and an exciting challenge.) I just don't want to make the mistake of finding i've chosen to stay somewhere completely wrong!

Any guidance would be v welcome. (Pls be kind, I am brand new to researching this trip but i have to make decisions asap to book.)

I am a newbie hiker (fit, mobile), and would like to experience the outdoors of this glorious city. I don't have a car so reliant on the Metro to get to the starting point.

A while ago, I attempted a hike in Figueres but, thanks to ChatGPT's hallucinations, I had to return home as all the directions were wrong!

Recommendations for hikes? Approx 1-3hr hikes would be a good start.
