Why do people sympathize with boys who never had women friends?

During my college there were boys who leave no chance to mock girls, hoot them especially during sports and culturals and they were the same guys who never had any women friends, forget gf. The same boys started slut shaming girls too. Those who had good behaviour had friends.

So when I see boys crying on reddit that they never had women friends, I see people sympathizing and trying to console them while we all know that it may be because of the behaviour too. I mean not all but in the majority of cases behaviour plays a very important role in how a girl treats you.

How is it possible that in a country of 140 crore where 50% are females, a boy fails to interact. It's his own behaviour that has caused this and instead of showing mirror people giving sympathy. Why?

Don't you think social media sets the narrative and people become biased?

So today my mother was discussing the siya and ketan case with me and she said girls these days have become more cruel than boys.

I wasn't shocked with her statement because she keeps watching reels whenever she is free and I knew where this came from

I told her it's not like that. There are more that 1200 cases against women everyday and these includes everything like sexual harassment, domestic violence, molesting, assault, murder, etc as per NCRB data. You are saying this because certain cases keeps getting highlighted, memes are made on that and what not

Just like men don't like to be called all men as rapist because of rape cases, women too don't like to be called as murderers because of some cases. You can't blame an entire community, that makes no sense.

It's not whataboutery, it's about empathy. One should be empathetic enough to call wrong as wrong be it by any gender.

How is social media becoming so biased these days?
