50% off for Employees Weekend Rules?

Ok, imma start this off with the fact that I work at Spirit Halloween. Since the company merger, I’ve been told that I can now get an employee discount at Hot Topic. We’ve had Hot Topic employees use their employee numbers for discounts in our system, and they work just fine. Spirit sent out an email saying that we (Spirit employees) can get the 50% off discount for this weekend. I went in store today, bought some stuff, gave them my info, but my total seemed high. I left the store for a second to look over my receipt and I didn’t get the discount? So I went back in and the manager was just as confused as I was. At first it seemed like a system error, so she needed to make some calls. I left the store again to give them time to figure things out, and when I came back I was told that Spirit employees don’t qualify for the discount? I decided to just return my items, I really didn’t want a fuss. But I guess the manager felt bad, so she called her manager again to see if there was anything they could do. The store manager actually requested to talk to me on the phone. She told me that they received an email this morning saying that Spirit employees won’t be getting the discount. I just don’t know why we would receive an email saying the exact opposite? Given, we did get the email a few days ago, and things change, but why weren’t we updated? Has anyone else encountered this? (I did end up just returning everything, in case anyone was wondering🥸)((I’m also not bashing the employees, it seems like corporate really fudged some stuff up))

UPDATE
Thank you all so much for your replies! It seems the location I went to was ill informed (which happens, I get it). I’m going to try my luck at a different location, today, and hopefully have a better outcome!

Can anyone help me identify what this is?

Honestly, I have no clue where to turn to. I don’t have insurance, so I can’t see a doctor. I’m really hoping y’all can help me!
I noticed a slight itching on my right ankle about 2 weeks ago. Upon first inspection, the skin was raised in a crescent shape and slightly red. The skin was otherwise smooth to the touch, no scaling present. I am prone to fungal infections on my skin, so I treated with topical anti fungal cream and thought nothing of it.
2 weeks later and it’s gotten worse. The half crescent became a ring, which then started filling in (as seen in the photo). The itching has only intensified. There are no other patches of skin that are affected. The skin is still not scaly or dry. It’s almost blister like, but no pus. I’d liken the skin to scars, but I’ve had no trauma to the area (and it’s slowly growing, so that makes no sense).
I haven’t been bitten by anything, that I’m aware of. I change my socks regularly and am generally quite hygienic. I don’t go barefoot anywhere. I keep a clean home that’s well disinfected. I take birth control pills, but no other medications. I’ve tried researching and have been given answers like ring worm. Maybe??? But the anti fungal I use also is supposed to treat ringworm and it did nothing.
Thanks so much in advance for your time and help. If you need any more information, please lmk!

Anyone Else Here Trans?

I’m trans nonbinary and I feel like the usual “scares” of ana don’t work on me, they actually do the opposite. “You’ll lose your breasts” good, now I don’t need surgery. “You’ll lose your period” hormonally bad, but I won’t feel dysphoric during that time of the month. I want to lose my curves, because they’re so feminine. My face is so round, I want an angular and androgynous look. Idk, I feel like choosing recovery is even harder because being sick helps ease my gender dysphoria. It’s a never ending battle. Am I alone in this?

Is This Indeed Listing/ Job Legit?

Ok, I'm slightly worried this posting may be a scam because I've searched all over the internet and have only found an uncompleted website from the email provided on the listing. That being said, the job listing doesn't seem outlandish. There are minimal grammatical errors, the pay isn't something insane, the description isn't incredibly vague, etc. I decided to send an email to the provided address that I was interested. I received a reply a few hours later asking to set up a phone call interview. I accepted and received a call another couple of hours later. Don't fret, I was cautious and observant of the questions being asked; I didn't want to give away any details that could be used against me. That being said, the phone interview went very well. The guy didn't ask for any crazy information, just verified my name and age, then continued to conduct a professional interview. He explained the role and what they were looking for, what kind of hours I'd be working (if hired), and genuinely seemed excited about this project (it's an acting gig). After we talked for a bit, he said that I'd be a good fit and that an hr rep will reach out soon to set me up with a time to come in and fill out any paperwork. I'm cautiously optimistic that this is a real job and that I've finally landed something; but I just don't know for sure. I'll make sure to link the job listing, and please ask me any questions for clarification! Link to Job Listing
