I didn’t want to believe the hype. This is the best cortado I have ever had. I also got three drip coffees and it’s the only time the flavor profiles have matched and been noticeable on each and every one. This is incredible. These are beyond golden shots on the espresso. The beans are incredible as well, especially the Glitch Select Lot.
I was hemming and hawwing about getting the CSR when the sub went up to 150,000 and was allowed even with my CSP. I got it late April. I went to Mexico City over Memorial Day and ate at Maximo, Contramar, Masala Y Maiz, and Quintonil. Got the Dining Credit.
Signed up for Global Entry, which is in process now, and got the credit.
Got home from Mexico City and bought a ticket for John Mulaney at the Ryman through Stubhub. Got the credit.
Went to Austin for work and ate at Suerte. Dining credit done already.
Went to NYC over Juneteenth weekend and stayed at the Park Hyatt for 40,000 World of Hyatt points per night ($1,300 per night by cash). Went to the Chase Sapphire Lounge at LGA and had breakfast with a mimosa and bloody mary. Went to Per Se and got museum tickets.
Clearly already got the $300 travel credit.
150,000 point SUB, almost $1,200 in credits already, points, and going to Japan and staying at the Park Hyatt Tokyo (booked before points changes for Hyatt).
This was an amazing decision.

I’ve had my Micra for 2.5 years now. I do the regularly scheduled cleaning, but I feel it’s probably time for a thorough servicing. The thing is, I’m in Nashville, and I’m struggling to find an experienced espresso machine serviced who has had experience with the Micra. I guess there should be some large machine leasers around town who would know LaMarzocco?
The best fine dining experience I have had. I’ve done Alinea, NEXT, Attica, Tin Lung Heen, The Chairman, Gaggan, Maximo, Rosetta, Per Se, Brea, Vue De Monde, Barley Swine, French Laundry, Catbird Seat, Locust, Bastion, Zahav, and many more.
Somm was excellent. Service was excellent. It was a little hot inside the restaurant. Could’ve done with it being 3-4 degrees cooler inside.
The starter bites were amazing. The tamale was fantastic. Just exceptional in every way. Cannot rave enough about my experience tonight.
