So i just got my Macbook Neo and im loving it. Only worry/concern i have it the memory swap. I do light browsing while having the imessage/mail app open and sometimes im memory swapping.

Is this safe/normal? This is my first mac and im reading mixed reviews on Memory swap. Some people say its bad and others say its nothing to worry about.

Any tips for the Macbook Neo? i just ordered mine (512gb SSD Touch ID) model. Any tips and tricks? It's my first MacBook.

I intend on using it for just some light browsing and Youtube/Hbo Max/Hulu streaming.

Also, what is the best case for it? i want to grab one thats under 50$.

For someone who has about 3-6 tabs open at a time while simultaneously using imessage , mail app, spotify, and doing some light gaming (Maplestory & World of Warcraft) was wondering if this is a good deal. I know its an older model but the m1 max is still a beast. Battery is over 90% and i plan to add it to my Apple One Apple Care Plan anyways.

I know it may seem a bit overkill but i do like the 16 inch screen, pro motion, extra ram, and how cheap it is for a beast.

I do not like the macbook airs -- i prefer the 120hz over 60hz.

So what do you think? Should i pull the trigger? Still viable in 2026?

Does anyone notice how fast the battery drains on this keyboard? i can barely get a full day out of it.

I had the Asus Azoth Extreme before this and i would get a week easily WITH 8k polling on, OLED screen and full keyboard brightness.

I guess the 8K polling and game mode turned on really drains it?

What is everyone's take on this keyboard? Saw it on sale on Amazon and was intrigued.

I've seen mixed reviews -- people say its a great low profile gaming keyboard but others say the software is a joke and never works and that the LCD screen is not customizable at all (wont show CPU GPU temps and is very limited)

In the market for a new keyboard -- i have the Rog Azoth Extreme right now and I'm kind of sick of it.

If anyone has it why would you recommend this keyboard?

So i came across this open box excellent condition from BestBuy -- MacBook Pro 16inch M4 Pro 48gb Ram 512gb SSD MacBook pro for $1920.

Storage is low i know but i dont have many big files or a ton of videos. This laptop will be for browsing, streaming videos, light gaming, etc.. basically basic stuff nothing too demanding.

I had the m5 base macbook pro but i returned it because i dont like the small screen & i was memory swapping while playing the games i wanted (World of Warcraft & Maplestory).

I know this is overkill for what im doing but i like the 16 inch screen and wanted the 120hz.

Nevertheless the battery health is 100% with 97 cycles and there are absolutely 0 scratches.

Is this a decent deal?

So just recently like a week ago my Discord started to not open and get stuck on checking for updates.. so the only way for me to fix it is restarting my pc.

I even uninstalled and reinstalled it. keeps happening. does anyone know why? and if theres a fix.
