I built an app called Savit — it’s basically a clean way to save links, screenshots, and files, but with offline-first AI features.

You can organize everything into collections, auto-save screenshots, and even get summaries or search your saved stuff using AI (works offline too). No cloud, everything stays on your device.

I originally made it for myself because my bookmarks and screenshots were a mess 😅 but it turned into a full app. If you’re into productivity tools or organizing content, you might find it useful

Just shipped my app using Expo and honestly it made the whole process way smoother than I expected. From development to builds and submission, everything just worked. Really appreciate the team behind Expo for making it easier for indie devs like me to actually ship

Do you actually revisit the stuff you save?

I noticed I keep bookmarking things (articles, tools, ideas), but when I need them… I can’t find them.

So I built something simple:

• fast saving
• collections + tags
• search that actually works
• offline-first

One thing I didn’t expect to matter this much: it can auto-detect screenshots and downloads, which is honestly where most of my “saved stuff” comes from.

It’s called Savit. Still early, but trying to keep it clean and lightweight.

It’s not a lot yet, but it’s real users and I’m happy about it.
The app is called Savit - Save It Later Bookmark. Basically a simple way to save links, images, and files, then organize them with tags like your own personal library.

Still early but yeah… feels good.

Didn’t really expect this tbh. I’ve been working on a small offline-first app called Savit—basically a lightweight bookmark + media organizer (no cloud, everything stays on-device).

I just wanted something fast and simple for saving links, screenshots, and files without the bloat of bigger apps.

Somehow it reached #1 in the Productivity category on the App Store 😅

I’ve been looking for a simple way to save links, notes, and random things I find online, but most apps feel too heavy or cluttered.

So I ended up building a lightweight app called Savit – Save It Later Bookmark. It’s designed to be simple, fast, and usable even offline.

The idea is just one place where you can quickly save anything and come back to it later without overcomplicating things.
