Thought I got a dust kitty but now confused? Help!

I recently adopted a grey kitten, but I’m noticing strange patterns in her fur and spots of orange. I’m terrified of orange cats 😭🤣 Is this normal? Is she still a dust kitty or.. what is she? I’ve only even had voids or tuxedo cats so this is very new to me, can someone explain this cats coloring to me like I’m 5? Sorry for poor quality photos, she’s acting… very orange cat-like

Just found two games I didn’t know I had!!

Never got to play these when I was younger due to life circumstances.. I’m so grateful to have found these!!!!! Been playing HMDS and SoSAWL recently now that I have more time to play, but wanted to try something different. Can’t believe I found these!!!!! Haven’t been touched in like 10-15 years (besides moving houses ig) lol

I did play trio of towns a BIT but don’t think I ever played sunshine islands. Which one should I play first?!

Prepping for storm

Hi, ladies!

I’ve been a prepper of sorts since I was a kid, and been through my fair share of Tuesdays. However, we have a significant weather risk coming to my area this week. Tornados, high winds, storms, all of that. I feel I’m prepared but I’d like to gather all my supplies and be as ready as possible.

My question is, has anyone created a checklist of sorts for this type of thing? I’ve been looking online and mainly only found either ‘how to stay safe during a tornado’ or ‘how to prep for a winter storm’.

Help a tired mama out! I’m fairly freshly postpartum and my brain isn’t working.

Help name this wittle baby kitty I take home Wednesday 😭❤️

Okay, so I posted here a few days ago asking for suggestions for a kitty I hadn’t picked yet… but now I’ve adopted on that is not what I expected lol I walked in thinking of getting a void but walked out getting a pile of ashes lol

ANYWAY, if anyone has any ideas, that would be awesome.

We prefer long, ridiculous names but can’t think of any to fit her (we do like the name Cinderblock though). She’s EXTREMELY sweet and especially calm for a kitten. Almost emotional support pet type calm 😂

We would really like it to be Halloween themed or fall themed but it’s hard with a grey kitty 😅

Name suggestions for a cat I don’t have yet!

Please delete if not allowed!!

I lost my sweet baby Raven a couple weeks ago and I know getting another pet will never replace him (he’s a once in a lifetime soul) but we’re wanting to offer up our home for another cat to live their forever life ❤️ we can’t sit around with extra space and love in our heart and NOT open our home. I know it’s what Ray would want, he helped raise two kitties himself! We are going to the shelter tomorrow just to peep around but I’d like to hear some name suggestions if anyone has any 👀

This will likely be a black cat or an orange POSSIBLY, but really could be any color. We just prefer voids and there’s a lot of them at the shelter.

We love Halloween names, literally anything Halloween related

Our other cats are Winifred (altogether she’s been renamed Minnie (short for Ho Chi Minh City)) and Friday the 13th Dark Pumpkin Spice (kid named that one)

We love ridiculous names and long names. There’s no limit as long as it’s Halloween related.

ISO a kitten ❤️

Please delete if not allowed!

We recently lost our old man cat and although nothing can replace him, we’d like to offer a furever home to a kitten in need. We are looking for an all black kitten preferably and one that has been born in the past week or so that will be ready to come home in a couple weeks. Please comment here if your cat has had any recent litters! 🖤

UPDATE YALL: we will be going through APL soon. Thank you so much for your suggestions!!!! 🖤🐈‍⬛🖤

Friendship advice needed?

Please delete if not allowed but I didn’t know where to post this 😬

Going to keep details vague for privacy but I have a long time friend, we’ve been best friends since we were teenagers. I had a child young and friend wasn’t around much as we were both living our own lives. Friend has had a LOT of relationship drama and instability over the years so I get it. Regardless, we always stayed friends. We’ve never even had a fight.

Lately, I’ve felt ‘off’ about the friendship. I’m a SAHM and have just had another child. Friend doesn’t seem to want anything to do with my children, doesn’t want the baby to join if we go out to a restaurant or shopping. Which is… odd. I’ve always brought my children with me, especially the youngest ones.

Friend is going through a weird time in life and is kinda sorting it all out. Which is fine and I’ve been very supportive. But this time, it’s different. She’s said a couple times I’m ’living her dream life’ and it’s starting to feel like there’s actual jealousy there… which I hate. This friend is not in a relationship and doesn’t have kids but she desperately wants to. I understand the feeling of wanting something someone else has but this feels like resentment is growing on her end. She even told a mutual friend of ours that I needed to find a different friend to do activities with (which pissed the mutual friend off immensely) Money isn’t an issue for her so I’m just confused. It’s not like I live a dream life, we’re upper lower class, we make ends meet but it’s not like we’re living the high life. I don’t want to lose my best friend but I also don’t want to be around someone who may be resentful of me for ‘having something she doesn’t’. It’s just weird. I don’t have this issue with any other friend and I’ve never had an issue with this friend at all. What do I do?

Wanting more kids but not sure what to do

Hey, moms!

So, I’m (29f) at a dilemma. I have 2 children (9y and 8mo) and planned on conceiving again in January 2027. I’ve never had an issue getting pregnant and have had very healthy children. I do develop HG in pregnancy which while I’m going through it is the worst thing on earth but the second I give birth, it’s gone.

My concern is, my husband has taken a different job and he is now an independent contractor. Which means we cannot get a home loan for about 2 years until he can prove income. I’m a sahm. I bought our home before marriage and it is only 2 bedrooms. The mortgage payment is LOW like $700 a month in an extremely well to do town with the best school district in the state. We are planning to either move or add on to the home, which either way will take a substantial amount of time before we’re able to do so. Our youngest sleeps in our room and the oldest has his own room, of course.

My question is, what should I do? Put off trying to convince? I worry if I do that, I will run out of time. Every woman in my family has had cancer and/or a hysterectomy before age 35. My sister (30) just had hers earlier this year.. I am healthy currently but I worry. I just want one more baby but is it selfish to do so before we have enough bedrooms or is it understandable since we will be adding on or upsizing shortly after the next planned baby is born? My husband and I have even discussed putting a Murphy bed in the living room for us while the kids have their own rooms 😅 our mortgage is just so low and in this market I know we cannot afford to rent in our town (homes rent for 3.5k+) I’m at a loss.

Grief advice?

My sweet kitty went home to the creator. Heartbroken is the only way I know how to describe it. I’ve lost many people and pets before, but losing this cat I just don’t know how I can go on. He was everything to me. We did everything together and he got me through it all. I’m at the point now, I don’t even want to be in my house anymore. I want to sell it and move. Literally. I cannot stand being here knowing he’s not coming home or he’s not in the next room sleeping. I’ve already left town for the weekend and returned home, even that wasn’t enough. We have other pets and kids so it’s not like it’s a quiet house without him it’s more just being here doesn’t feel right without him. I can’t even do anything in here, I feel just so depressed and unmotivated while I’m home.

Am I just grieving and this will pass? Or have I lost it?

Dumpster Dawg

Rescued at only 4 weeks old on the hottest day of the year. Mama dog looked to be a pitbull, but our dog looks more lab to me? She is the sweetest family dog (to us) but hates strangers. Has a high prey drive but loves her kitties. Does not like other dogs. Sits on the couch and relaxes all day. Any best guesses?
