MOST IMPORTANT FYI - cars with other state registration wasn’t allowed on Ooty hairpin route. We had to take alternative longer route to Ooty. If you are planning this trip,be aware as no one was standing on that turn to tell us, we were informed by other drivers enroute to take u-turn.
