Post I/O Review related to AI (pros and cons )

Well it was not disastrous as many people say but there were some pros and cons which everyone will agree with.

Btw gemini 3.5 flash is absolutely amazing model don't pay attention to some people complaining but test yourself.

Pros:

1. Released or updated many products like Google omni flash (which is good and pro omni will be much better)

2. Gemini 3.5 series of models - 3.5 flash it's actually so good better than 3.1 pro or on par and better in agentic coding

3. Updated gemini ui with extended thinking option which looks cool and mcp integration coming soon..

4. AGY 2.0 now have subagents and is really good.

5. Gemini spark and later mcp integration is also good and they will make it available to pro users too.hope so

And many things that were really good like ai overview in search improved ask youtube and many more which are always welcome.

Btw when using gemini with flash extended or pro extended it sometimes makes a educational video like 1 min long which is so good never seen any ai do it

Or even make detailed visualization which we can click and explore more which are awesome tbh

Cons:

1. Usage limits is one of biggest con and many people are disappointed but I'm sure they will work on it as now even in anti-gravity they increased 3x limits forever and so even in gemini they will increase

2. Gemini 3.5 flash price increase - well this is what people are saying as price is increased 3 times but i don't think it's con cause it's as good as 5.5 or 4.7 but still cheaper.

3.one of the con I think which is like Google should work on is their products are cluttered like they did integrated notebook but still their other products are here and there like they could integrate at one place like

Flow in gemini and then music making (available in gemini but there seprate tool which allows more options and flexibility) and like so many others

4. Another con is their deep think they should improve it and because of we look at openai they have pro model which is actually so good it will think for so much time even extended thinking but gemini don't think for long

Also they should add agentic capabilities even for normal chat.

Oh yes and one of the biggest con or disappointment was there was any benchmarks of upcoming 3.5 pro model or deepthink they didn't released model at that time only which peoples biggest disappointment

Btw some people saying gemini 3.5 flash isn't good well ig they didn't tested it bc it's clearly such a good model it codes soo well and good even agentic capabilities so good.

What's your opinion on i/o ??

Well this is a major setback with gemini that their search for normal search and other is good no doubt but claude search is more like agentic even for normal search which is so better it can find u websites for it exact which isn't possible with gemini

What gemini missing is agentic capabilities rn well google is working on it ig but they are falling behind ig

And also btw gemini responses are shorter if you tell claude to make it long it will make it so long and detailed which isn't possible with gemini.

Please Google or gemini fix these things

I see many people giving their opinion based on what they previously saw or based on others and making their own opinion. Even though they don't test models thoroughly, they still give their option which is so frustrating. Latest example is Gemini 3.5 flash

Bro like 3.5 flash according to my test even though they increased pricing it's so much better it's not lazy and it's much better in agentic coding and so many test i did are much better than opus 4.7 and gpt 5.5

But people still gonna say "I'm not waste my time trying it" or like "it's bechmaxxing" and so much more like "price is increased and it's only flash model I'm disappointed"

Bro please first try models yourself and then give your honest opinion.

And don't focus on tweeter leakers until model comes because they take all excitement and sometimes hype some things
