Is it normal to go from 20 mg of propranol a day to 80?

Hi everyone, I'm a 21f, i was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism officially 2 months ago but I've had a growing goiter for a few years now. my biggest issue has been swallowing issues and high blood pressure and heart palpitations. The last time I was at the doctors was on the 16th of june when he prescribed me 10 mg of inderal(propranolol) twice a day. Today I had a follow up with same doctor who after doing my routine vital check saw that my heart rate was quite high and referred me to another doc who specialized in the field. She told me that my heart rate was still hogh despite me taking my pill when I woke up and told me she's upping my dose to 60 mg for a few days and then 80 mg (taken once a day) and it just worries me because as I'm taking my 10 mgs I've experienced a few side effects especially after excersizing where I can't breathe at all and sometimes have to use my sisters inhaler. Has anyone had something similar happen? how did your body react to the higher dosage? any info would help ease my growing anxiety, thanks

(p.s here are my labs from when I got diagnosed in may if they might help)

also on another side note, I'm getting both an ultrasound and nm thryoid scan in a few days to figure ouf the underlying cause, so fingers crossed they turn out okay😭

is there any way to find work without an noc?

hi everyone, Im a 21f currently here under my fathers sponsership but I live with my mother and we haven't been in contact for over 4 years as he is abusive, often threatened me, and it was no longer livable with him. a year or so ago i was granted change in sponsership through court to my mother but he illegally changed it back to him without any court order or anything. I have worked temporary jobs before and explained my situation to HR and they were understanding but he ended up causing problems for me and used it against me because I did not have an noc or legal doc from him to work. I have no way to change it again but I desperatly need a job as my relationship with my mother is also strained and I would like find any sort of independence wihout relying on either of them. every job I apply to requires an noc but I don't know how to get one considering I do not speak to my sponser at all. are there jobs that wouldn't require it? is there any legal loopholes that allow me to apply with an noc from my mother instead? any advice is appreciated, thanks

can I sell crocheted items online without a license?

Salam everyone,

I was wondering if anyone here has experience with selling handmade crochet items online? I saw a couple pages on ig and thought of doing the same but got scared as people warned me to not do it without a license or I can get in trouvle. I am only trying to sell a few items to afford moving out of my home with my cats not to do it long term. if anyone has had experience with it let me know how you go about selling and if theres even a market for it here, thank you

are scrap buyers real or a scam?

I came across a poster for someone buying all sorts of scrap. I have some electronics that have rusted and no longer safe to use including coffee machines, cables and adaptors, and heaters. I dont know if contacting them is a safe move or if its illegal and whether they are reliable or not, if someone tried them please share your experience, thank you

21f looking for suggestions for suitable jobs during semester off

hi everyone, im a 21f and a student at QU. prior to applying to uni, i took a few gap years where I worked in sales, hostessing and tutoring but didnt last long in any of them as I was mostly looking for temporary/part time jobs in hopes I could save up for uni fees during that short period. fast forward to now, I had to take this semester off as I couldn't pay the outstanding fees. since I live in a single parent household with 4 other siblings my only real option was to borrow the amount from family or family friends to cover it and continue to the next semester, but I didnt want to drown my mother in more debts so here I am. I tried applying for student employment but as a first year I couldn't and now find it very hard to find any jobs that I meet the skills needed for. so if anyone has any suggestions as to what jobs I should consider applying to..? or any advice in general as to how to fill my time productivly during these few months that'd be very helpful, thank you

(also I apologize for the writing if it seems a bit confusing Im currently running on no sleep and I misplaced my glasses so I can barely see what I'm writing lol)
