How solid are the action recommendations in drawdown SHIFT?

It phrased the question about diet horribly. Is beef really that much worse than any other meat? And, in terms of GHG emissions and other environmental damage, just how different are the footprints of meat vs. dairy? Otherwise, it honestly seemed pretty decent? Or at least very clear on what actions to take?

Who helped the Nazis invade other countries?

They rightly label Italy, Japan, and Romania allies. And Britain and France didn't invade an enemy of the Nazis alongside them. The Soviets did. Don't forget the jooint victory parade.

There can be more than one way you can help the climate

It's not the end of the world if the climate solution you're most focused on isn't THE most effective. Reducing or eliminating flying, avoiding meat or dairy or other animal products, going car free, etc, all make impacts. We need all of 'em.

AI covers by themselves are one thing. Pretending that you are documenting music or educational is another. It really p*sses me off.

Happy real VE Day

80 years ago, the Nazis had (mostly) surrendered. And so we celebrated the end of war and rationing and victory over fascism. Fuck Nazis and other fascists. Axis rest in hell.

And May 9th is a Soviet knock-off. The real victory day is on the 8th.

P.S. I can't wait to wish the zoviets a happy dissolution day on 12/25.
