I really wish I could help save CA's Great America but I don't know what to do

I'm just a Bay Area native fed up with gentrification and seeing the places I loved growing up being destroyed and have no power for anything. I know it' just a little theme park, but for many of us it was a landmark that should've been saved for out future generations. Many landmarks around the world were accidental and took effort by local communities actively emailing and contacting their local leaders to save. The Hollywood sign for example was a billboard for real estate and was supposed to be taken down but local citizens lobbied to keep it and now it's a icon for the entertainment industry.

The Bay Area has already lost so much including theme parks itself and other such as sports teams (A's, Raiders, etc). And the sad thing about the tech industry is that they barely have any landmarks or places worth visiting.

I just don't know what to because I am just another person. Some things I have done were contacting certain people such as

- Santa Clara city council

- Gavin Newsom

-The California tourism commission

- Prologis (the company taking over)

- even some social media influencers who promote places in California.

I highly disagree with the notion that there is nothing we can't do collectively. We have many people who want to keep it but not enough willpower. If only we emailed and contacted people, I believe there is a way to save it.

Has anyone used LegalShield to get their disabled account back?

I submitted my legal shield demand letter since January of this year only for Meta's Lawyer to reply and say they have received my request and that they he will let me know when they get a response. I haven't received anything yet. Is anyone else going through the same thing? How long does it take?

Unpopular opinion: I'm kinda fed up with transplants

Not to sound provincial or nativist but has anyone realized how much of Ca's problems are due to people from out of state? The homelessness, the lack of housing and jobs, the traffic, the gentrification, the politicians who move here that take advantage of Californians for their own benefits. Why are we so welcoming when so much of our problems stem from outsiders? I've recently said this: the best part about being from CA is that I get to grow up in the best place on earth, but the worst part is that so many people out there want to take our place. I genuinely preferred it when our population was declining but I would not prefer Californians to be the ones moving out. Like what do you mean an east coaster can move here within 4 years and become a politician while telling me, my state and my city how we should do things? It really makes no sense to me.

The dry heat is comfortable

The human body is meant for dry heat. Dry heat feels comfortable, especially when it is sunny. being able to wear lighter clothes like a t-shirt or tank, shorts, and flip flops. Lazy vibes, easy to tan, and places to swim without having to deal with a bunch of bugs and weird mosquitos.

Has anyone heard anything back from Legal Shield lately?

I have been waiting since December after sending a demand letter. Meta lawyers responded back with saying they have forwarded the information of my demand letter and will follow up with me when they have an update. But I have not heard anything as of last year. I have seen a couple people who sent out a demand letter and got an official response in less time than I have.
